Stangnes is part of the city of Harstad in Troms county, Norway. It is located south-east of the city center, bordered by Gangsåstoppen and Åsby to the west, Kanebogen to the south-west and the fjord Vågsfjorden to the north and east. Many people live in the area, where the kindergarten Stangneslia barnehage, the primary school Stangnes barneskole and the high school Stangnes videregående skole are located.
