   • 1955, Poultry Processing and Marketing:

     The meeting, which was held in Atlantic City, N. J., on January 6 to 8, attracted nearly 3,500 turkeymen.

   • 1968, Poultry Meat: Broiler and Turkey Edition, volume 5, page 116:

     "Year-round production and new plant capacity favor the Southeast at the expense of other areas," says a turkeyman in the center of that burgeoning production area.

   • 1976, The Callaway Journal, volume 1-6, page 53:

     Only once did he participate in a floor arrangement. That was in 1967 (a bad year) when Callaway Farms grew on contract with Morton Foods. "Fortunately we were well protected and it helped us out," says the Georgia turkeyman.
