But - this was (mostly) icons issue before last two dev versions, did help here too. What about checking with last dev versions - will try after nex dev update.

Look above, I whined about Opera last two dev versions taking about 5 minutes to open 😞
It can be caused by some extension, I have had no time to experiment, I just reverted to older version (76.0.3981.0), everything is quick with that.

Maybe without the GX's existence we'd have more qualitative product with more advanced features (or at least features which are completed/polished).

Same here (starting with 76.0.3989.0). For me, white screen stands for about 5 minutes(!), before tabs show.
In windows task manager tab processes apperar immediately, but browser core consumes 100% of one core of CPU (25% of total) for all these minutes.
I didn't check with clean profile, I just reverted to 76.0.3981.0, which starts immediately.

I blamed my older W10 - but looks that other users have had similar problems.
