- Currently, using "Read Aloud" involves multiple steps:
- Selecting text, which is difficult without looking at the screen.
- Tapping “Select all,” which is sometimes hidden under the additional options menu ('...').
- Finding and selecting “Read aloud,” which is also buried in the same menu.
Moreover, the menu often moves or changes position after text is selected, making it even harder to interact with.
For a feature that’s intended to help users while driving, this workflow is too complex and not safe.
Suggestion:
Please consider adding a dedicated "Read Aloud" button on the bottom toolbar that:
Reads the entire page, or
Starts reading from the currently visible section to the end of the page (preferred).
This would make the feature much more accessible and truly helpful for users who need to listen to web content without using their hands or eyes.

]]>My reasoning:
- All the same benefits from Opera One apply: save time, focus on two windows at once, skip annoying manual resizing and keep both screens in the same browser window, etc.
- It's clear from other posts in this forum and in other places like the Opera subreddits that this is a feature many GX users are seeking.
- From a competitive standpoint, many other browsers either have or are adopting this feature.
- Since it is not an entirely new task for the Opera team (you've done it on one of your sister browsers), hopefully it wouldn't be as much of a time sink as another brand new feature would be. I understand the build requirements and product strategy may be different on GX, but adding this feature would be a large feature-set boost for hopefully less work than a never-before-seen feature would be.
I think one should be able to manually add websites that if adblocker is on should close automatically.
Or have a separate option because mobile can't have extensions installed.

And since i never used and don't plan on using either of the websites i would love to not have it saved in history and close automatically when they try to open.
I hope to see it implemented soon for improving everyone's user experience.

]]>Obviously there is some form of sync, since the mobile can see open tabs on desktop, just not the other way around.
However, I found that using GX on desktop and normal Opera on mobile, gives me what I want. Would be cool with sync in GX on mobile too though. Or at least the small part of it that makes desktop able to see open tabs on mobile...
]]>The tab islands is nice but take that V approach. Opt to have tab islands auto-collapse But leave that last tab visible as an indicator of the island subject, exactly like you do when a tab is collapsed with an active tab. ]]>
