I was referred to this but this setting isn't an option anymore. If there is no way to do this yet, I would like to start a petition to make it a thing ^-^

This browser worked so well I made it my default. I left regular Opera installed as a fallback. Things were great for around 10 days, then the spell checker stopped working and the search box disappeared. I know my way around Opera's settings, and know how to disable / enable them, but nothing I did made these problems go away. I also tried "refreshing" and letting it delete settings.. I uninstalled it, rebooted, and after looking for remnants I reinstalled it to a different location.. same problems. I'm out of ideas.

I think the best way to deal with this from Opera's point of view would be to fix the "refresh" and install process, because it's still leaving settings the way they were. I had to set the defaults myself. I think it's (suddenly) no longer happy with Opera being installed alongside it? Maybe sharing some files? IDK. They both worked great until recently, so I don't think so.. It's installed seperately now, too. Must be a problem in appData or the reg.
