I ask because I've noticed a drastic difference in quality between Opera and Google Chrome's webpage translation? If there are issues beyond not arranging for these models to be improved, what are these issues? Is it due to time, data, or some other issue? I recently switched from Google Chrome to Opera within the last week as a result of discovering some admittedly impressive webpage load times (with Data Saver turned on) on a very poor hotel internet connection. However, I was somewhat discouraged with my switch as a result of discovering average or even subpar translations compared to Google Chrome's translations. If Opera uses Google Translate, it doesn't seem like it based on testing some light novel chapters with Google Chrome versus Opera.

As seen above, in the German translation of the GXControl-Tab, there are some issues with grammar as well as spelling. Usually I'm not really the grammar police, but I think this diminishes the professionalism. Correctly phrased it should be:
"Vernichte Tabs , die deine Ressourcen klauen."

All the opera's .desktop file mentions is 2 entries that are only available under unity: one for launching it as usual and one for launching it in private mode, so I assume the other 5 come from gnome or from some gnome extension.
