Under my account settings it asks me for my password and I put in what I thought was correct; however, I do not get the email link to do so. I have also checked every folder in my outlook to see if it got filtered and no such luck. I have read other people in this forum have experienced this issue and opera requested a bug number. I did that and immediately got an email from opera with a bug number (BS-88917). So, I know that my account email is correct but I never received the password reset link.
The bug email with what I should do had nothing to do with my issue nor did it make sense it stated:
Thank you for your report.
It looks like your report connected with the search engine change.
You can change the search engine in combined address and the search bar:
Opera’s default search engine is depends on your location (usually it's Google or Yandex), but you may prefer to search using Ecosia, DuckDuckGo, Amazon, Yahoo, or Wikipedia. To change the default search engine:

I have read other users have had the same problem and it was suggested to use the bug reporter, however the reply email with suggestion did not resolve my issue. I don't know how to resolve this problem.
