Since it works in Google Chrome but breaks in Opera, it’s likely a CSS compatibility issue rather than your overall layout approach. A few things you can check before rewriting everything:

Vendor compatibility: Make sure you’re not relying on browser-specific behavior. Try adding proper fallbacks or prefixes (e.g., for flexbox/grid).
CSS Grid/Flex issues: Opera usually supports modern CSS, but small differences (like min-width, overflow, or flex alignment) can cause elements to shift or disappear.
Missing prefixes: Use a tool like Autoprefixer to ensure cross-browser support.
Box sizing & resets: Inconsistent defaults can break layouts—try applying box-sizing: border-box; globally.
Inspect in Opera DevTools: Compare computed styles between Chrome and Opera to spot what’s being ignored or overridden.

You should restart it then I hope it will be fixed, I did 1 time same procedure.

Lost all my history and tabs [Already Synced]

today, idk how but my Opera GX stuck on minimized and only display when i press F11 [Fullscreen]. I've tried to restart pc, reinstall Opera GX using reinstall option in my pc control panel, editing the preference file and deleting windows_placement [based on a topic i found on Opera forum [here] yet nothing work. Finally i uninstall Opera GX and download it again, but all my opened tabs in the previous opera are gone, including all the history. When i log in my opera account again i hope i would sync my previous session, but sadly i wait 30 minutes yet the history empty, bookmark empty, speed dial empty and yes i had to search all the tabs i open in the previous session to yet bookmark it manually again.

I don't understand my even tho i log in again its not synced in the new installation of Opera GX

@neetesha I'll try. It's annoying that although I am logged in in both Opera and Opera Beta and all sync options are on, Opera Beta doesn't get any of my bookmarks or speed dials.

@godswillmesh Switch Opera Mini to Automatic data savings mode and reload. That site doesn't support extreme data savings mode.

Crashing, white bars on screen

Adding for posterity @avl that it appears that when a window's open for a while, even if the white bar does not appear (because I'm actively using that window), the display will become off-calibration with what's on the page, forcing me to move my cursor below where the link actually is to click on the link. The behavior fixes itself if I switch tabs.

I assume the problems are related.
