Hi, I’m Gabi, a software developer from Seville, Spain.
I code for work, with expertise in backend development, databases, and scalable architectures; and for fun, where I usually find joy in the simplest projects that involve munging data from the Internet and building things with it. I cultivated most of my computing life within the free software community, where my involvement goes back to the days when setting up a PPP connection was a rite of passage.
When I'm not in front of a computer, you’ll likely find me experimenting in the kitchen, gardening/landscaping, and translating. Translation from English to Spanish has been a relaxing hobby of mine for over 25 years.
