hi-fi stands for high-five
since im back in the valley for a bit i got a call from one of my relatives saying that they have a bunch of audio gear theyre willing to gift me. everybody in the family thinks that im "tech savvy" so naturally im always on the recieving end of these hand-me-downs
i do think i'm tech savvy but i don't know anything about high end audio. they're two very separate worlds
when I got home I was able to count all of the stuff i got. In no particular order:
- two onkyo recievers
- one tx-sr601 and one tx-nr555
- an onkyo cassette deck
- This was the first time ive been able to play my CrO2 tape of Synchronicity since i got it a year ago
- two bookshelf speakers
- some high end onkyo 6 disc cd player
- donated it to kvrx 91.7
- two really powerful subwoofers
- a sound bar
- multiple blu ray and dvd players
- a set of outdoor speakers
- an old sony ericsson walkman phone (!)
