How Do We Hold Space for Trauma in Spiritual Direction? | PAX | On Sat. April 27th, we will be hosting a virtual training for spiritual directors on how to hold space for your directees who have experienced trauma. This workshop will be led by licensed clinician, Ana Barend! Ana is a licensed mental health counselor who is a doctoral student in Counselor Education & Supervision. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) & practices trauma-informed care at a non-profit setting in MA. She is certified in eye movement desensitization & reprocessing (EMDR). Ana was born & raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, & used to be a professional surfer! We are so excited for this so mark your calendars & stay tuned for more information!
