I usually never comment or interact with really anything online, especially on itch, I normally just download the visual novels and keep my thoughts to myself, but call it a blue moon outside because I'm struck with some confidence. Creator hold my hand as I write (and you read, hopefully) as I delve into my thoughts on this game (spoiler, it's all good stuff). Also to anyone reading, spoilers. Play this damn game, it's amazing.

I played so many visual novels, from the famous Adastra, to something small like After Years. I played many, oh so many. From my experience as someone who knows the plot and theme of all those games, this game does so many unique things that I absolutely adore, the MC tweaking out and unable to figure out why he's tweaking, but trying to blame it on something else that I truly believe has little to nothing to do with the fact that he's tweaking, to the giant mountain man of a canine roommate unable to express himself and making constant mistakes with his (hopefully) future boyfriend. I love it. Although Kai is nothing related to human, his emotions and inability to express himself truly in a safe manner is something human-like we all see constantly, I personally haven't seen such a thing in any game I've played, especially when he makes the mistake of doing it violently the first time to the MC. The story so far, is great! I love it, god do I do. The horror is perfect, all I would recommend more details during the horror scenes, sights, smells, what the MC hears. Some more would be great, I loved the shower scene! Never seen that before in any game AND I LOVED IT! Truly unique. The MC tweaking out is an aspect I have found only in one other game, Santa Lucia, But the reason the MC is tweaking out here is a totally different reason! And I love it! That's the beauty of this VN, it has it's own spin on "something is wrong with the MC" and it's amazing. The horror and terror the MC feels after the shower scene is the most real and understandable thing-ever. I kept screaming when I read it "Nah I'd be the same way" And the hurt Kai felt is understandable as well! Down right perfect. I love it all, I personally hope to find more about the sword, that sword is so damn cool looking and my hopes and dreams is it being used. I loved the ending of the current build, Kai and the MC are about to head back to the dorm, talk more and possibly date, which is something I absolutely THIRST for! So many vns have the tendencies to make it near the end of the game when you finally get your partner, and you barely spend any time with them, etc. I'm eighty percent confident here that Kai and the MC will get together and it's no where near the end of the game, meaning we'll see the two go through all of this as a couple, which is literally everything I could personally hope for as it opens up so many more possibilities for the horror aspect going on. Because if I got Kai as a boyfriend and a murderer is on the loose, I'm sticking like GLUE to him, but if Kai (as my boyfriend) is always in the hallucinations I'd also be scared of him, its a beautiful dilemma! The lore of the game is just UGH! Divine. Truly. A recommendation? Make something in game or outside with everything the MC knows at that current moment, it'd make it so much easier to connect dots! I love picking up on quotes through-out the game that has been said in a different manner or context, it really makes me think constantly! I'm running out of confidence and so I end this off with a thank you for this game and best believe I will play every build, maybe have thoughts on them, if I gain more confidence. Mwah.
