ok well guess i wont bother with halfway house and will delete it. fue to it not being in my twitch libray even though i have it installed  ( installed in 2 parts as a matter of fact 2 seperate shortcuts on my desktop.

i already own halfway house, do i have to pay for it again to download this?  if so that is just straight up BS.

all my old saves outright disappeared so count yourself lucky you even still have yours.  its going to take me days if not weeks to get back to the point i was at before this update

istalled it and have to start over because all my save games got wiped.  so  warning if you plan to download this new update backup your save game folder before downloading so you can replace it after updating, sadly i didnt think to do that because i have never had to in the past and there was no announcement by dev that this would be required.

not just an itch thing, it happens across all palatforms.  f95zone does do a decetn job of marking games as abandoned but doesnt catch them all sadly.  however, evermore was marked as abandoned before the dev and it was the devs comments about burnout a few months later that confirmed it had been abandoned up until then the devlogs were all working on it taking longer than expected, etc.

no i dont.  altough it is highly enjoyable the giant cliffhanger at the end stings.  not worth getting invested in this and since it is devs only work and he couldnt een finsh it i wont even try and future works of his.  i was a subscriber at the time and the dev couldnt even be bothered to say it was abandoned until after the userbase had already deemed it abandoned with long time between its updates  only then did the dev make a comment about burnout.

disappointing it was abndoned.  with this being the only prject under prometheus, and it beng abandoned unfinished  i personally will have a hard time downloading anything else from this dev.  i mean if you only have 1 work out there and you abandon unfinished thats basically a 100% fail rate.  again for me personally i was really enjoying it and made it to final of latest only to learn it had been abandonded  what makes it even more upsetting is i was actually a supporter and was paying not knowing it had been abandoned but the dev was still taking my money every month.

so yeah now more supporting devs for me thanks to prometheus, and since the work was abandoned unfinished and his only project i personally wont be downloading future works from this dev and i recommend caution if you do and i also do NOT recommend supporting the dev as asubscriber without a positive track record and right now his track record for timely updates and finished works is trash with his 100% failure rate.

problem is evs keep claiming purge without noticing the real reason their games are being removed.  if you look into it more you will see that most focused on paid versions. and then having ultra slow almost non exdidtant updates.  best way for games to remain on itch without issue is not to use it for earning money, do that on subscribestar and patreon, on itch you can still direct to sub and pat but have a free version as wel and i dont mean a "demo"  version i mean full to date game version but give the paying players advance access to the most recent updates.  i use to sub to multiple evs on pat and sub but i got tired of lack of timely updates or even any update by the dev of delays.  alot of those games that were also on f95zone have been marked as abandon by both users and f95zone. moral of this is that devs need to stop complaining and blaming itchio  for removing their works from teh platform when the truth is obvious to those who look.

honestly im not even worried about it at this point to be honest, i deleted ahtir last night from my pc.  i read somethign that honestly  shows a money grab with agtir in that on itch io there are an ahtir and an ahtir premium page basically meaning 2 different version.  thats all fine and good but what does that mean for those of us like myself who bought ahtir PRIOR to the ahtir premium version? 

never got any "key".  dont know if it is because i bought ahtir on itch.  what i do know is this isnt the first time i have had an issue with ahtir, first time was right after i bought ahtir an update came out and it wouldnt let me download it, then i became a patreon for ahtir and never got "early  access" to updates only to have dev tell me i had to bump up patreon amount to qualify ( which was suppose to be included in the tier i was paying for so i dropped my patreon support of ahtir and i contacted dev on patreon to let tehm know why i was dropping support from pat i ended up getting blocked on pat so this honestly is not surprising to me at all from ahtir or the dev to be bluntly honest. 

bought hoause in the rift over a year ago it looks like zanith is forcing people to pay again for the 8.08 update by labeling it premium.  filling out the form did nothing.  game is good dont get me wrong but i agree with commenter below not enought to pay for it twice.  xanith really needs to fix this issue because as it is now it looks like some of us are going to get the shaft because we cant get the 8.98 update and either have to stick with 8.07 until we finish it ( which i have) and then delete it to make room for another game.

whats teh time frame for the next update,  patience isnt really my thing especially with a game as good as ripples.

new update appears to be broken.  upon loading previous save game it goes to a screen with main menu on bottom so 0/21 update must be broken.

downloaded 0.21.0 but when i load previous save it just pops a main menu button on bottom of screen and clicking that basically ends game.  so new update appears to be broken.

this game has been been without an update so long that some sites are saying its abandon which i believe.  it is eerily similar to what happened to evermore ( i will NEVER forgive evermores dev for that).  so yeah if you havent downloaded this yet, dont.  its good dont get me wrong but it leaves you hanging after just getting into the new world and all you can do is grind money which gets boring ( yep i did the grind waiting and hoping for update to the point where i had over 1 million so i gave up and uninstalled it.  when the devv finally releases and update ( and it better be a HUGE update, im talking next update should be 0.3.0 and 0.4.0 combined since it soon will be 2 years without an update, or at the very least an update from dev admitting he has abbandon the game.

i dont get teh scam comment or purge here in 2026 games that were taken down have since been relisted.  the only ones not relisted are teh ones by devs that decided to push paid subs on subscribestar and patreon.  i have deleted games from those devsbecause i see it as a money grab, it is also causing some sites to list these devs games as abbandon.  this could be the case on itch marking it as scam,  or it could be the game dev doing it to push people to sub/pat.  either way the game looked cool but i fits not on itch free or f95zone free i dont touch them, simply because updates are to random some have just seen their first update  after a year and im ot into that  long of a wait to be honest, good luck to the dev though.

this was shaping up to be something great but then the dev apparently abbandon it :( .  guess i will uninstall it and MAYBE the dev will come back to it and soon because this game had potential.

you are wrong there are ways but the problem is greed plain and simple.  one dev for example had second season free on multiple places but you could not play season 2 without season 1 which is all well and good until you find season 1 locked behind paywall.  now what makes it even more curious is for season one they give the same excuses as to was given here, but the season 2 is listed on the site that it is claimed season 2 is blocked from ( see what im getting at herw?).  in the other case how can season 2 be ok on itch but season 1 not?  similar things happening all over itch.  i think if a dev wants to use patreon and subscribestar fine limit the games to those platforms and dont even mention them on sites like itch at all that way the dev can rely on patreon and subscribestar for peopel wanting to play and or try their games.  no need to use itch if people are just going to be forced to go to patreon or subscribestar anyway.  

as soon as i see i have to go to patreon or subscribestar i just go to another devs game and it has led me to finding a lot of great games on itch that i can download and play without being forced into subscribing to patreon or subscribestar and for the record i use to sub for a few devs on patreon but i often found myself paying for nothing as devs were not releasng content regularly, one dev didnt deliver anything for a year and when he did next say anything it was to say he had abanndoned the game we were paying the sub for.  so no i will NOT sub to patreon or subscribestar anymore after losing so much money supporting devs.

first i dont go to mcdonalds i go to burger king , going to mcdonalds is for idiots that like wasting money on inferior goods, second i made a simple question and you sickos crawl out of the woodwork bashing people who are not into the same kind of gross shit you guys are into ( im betting you futa lovers also like eating shit and watching shit eating videos ).  fact is not eeryone likes futa and for the record i never downloaded this because of the futa and was asking if there would be a non futa option ( which i would be down for a NON futa option).  i already passed on this and will continue to do so.  just glad the dev didnt ruin furrhouse making it have a futa mc ( and so far ive been able to avoid any futa entanglements in furrhouse which is great.

hasnt been anything on discord either to be honest, at least i havent seen anything.  starting to think the dev on a whim decided to abandoned it.

well i just checked  again going all the  the  way back to aug 2024 and i do not see a single mention of a time ( or date rather) of when topossibly see the next update.  last mention of it was on itch  for 22.3.d.

well would be nice for an update on the eta of the update.  there has been nothing posted on itch or discord regarding the next game update. this has alot  of people ( not just me) asking the same question.

im gonna ask same question as raylynn.  times of posts are not exactly adding up.  announcement above shows 91 days ago, ralynn's comment month ago, and last devlog listed was aug 10th 2024.  havent seen anything on discord, x, patreon or subscribe star as to any delays or anything to indicate how much longer. instead of soon how about just giving an estimated date and notice that it is subject to change and if a change in date does come up a simple update to the date?  is that so hard to do?  or is it more likely the devs just want to get that pat, substar money?  

i see alot of devs doing this to be honest and 99% of them are just trying to get you to sub to their patreon, subscribestar.  i myself subbed to a dev on patreon once just to keep updated only to get no new information, on the devs game and spent almost a year paying the sub only to find on several forums the dev was not working on his game and still taking the money, at this point i unsubbed and will NEVER sub to a dev again.  i have also seen devs do other shady stuff like having a second season of their game which cant be played without playing season 1 first and then you cant find season one easily and when you do it is under a paywall while the second season is free ( alternate exsistance is a prime example of this with season one not on itch and locked behind a paywall when you find it and season 2 free but not playable without having played the previous season. 

dev killed the game, locked it behind a paywall like alot of other devs did with itch ios new rules.  sad as it was looking good bur like others they had to turn to the money.

announcement dev kills great VN by moving it to a book format a media that has lost and is continually losing  popularity.  some will come to teh misguided conclusion that people wont follow book format for lack of adult material in it which is far from the truth.  the fact is alot of people no longer read books and novels if they did book stores wouldnt be going under daily, even digital format books and novels dont have a great market either.

sad to see the dev kill a game in this way but he/they did.  to those that will still support the dev in his "novel" approach  (pun intended) your choice but i suspect a larger portion will like myself wash my hand of evermore especially with other great avns like artemis and eternum out there.

no he killed it thinking people would rather have it in a novel format than a VN format, which clearly the comments are already starting to show his descision is not a welcome one.  so no evermore isnt on hiatus anymore it is dead and buried.

lot of nintendo games had this mix of fantasy/sci-fi ( FFVIIV comes to mind) and it worked but in this instance not really IMHO.  i was getting into him being the actual good MC and wanting to look after the ladies, it almost feels like the game as gone woke and flipped script and reversing the ladies and the mc's roles  so the ladies are now mc and the former mc is nothing.  i truly hope this isnt the case but the signs are all there, whats next alphabet soup people?  futas? ( either of those 2 will be insta kill and delete for me).

of course all i can do is wait and see what happens next but at this point im going to wait until there are several big updates out before i play it again.  honestly ive been replaying artemis, eternum, and evermore alot lately ( yes i nkow evermore is a dead game and that is truly a pity because it looked like it was goign to be another great one like eternum and artemis, also been playing alot of corrupted world and corrupted kingdom ( just wish the devs would get some content updates out for CK and CW.
