i actually think it was really hot for trinity santos to walk in on her first day with that amount of confidence, make nicknames for every loser in there, try and get to do as many cool procedures as she could, catching some asshole stealing drugs, flirt with a 30+ year old surgery resident and still bag her after stabbing her in the foot, and just in general walking around and taking up her rightful space. i think women should do that more
just in general samira was SUCHHHHH a good teacher đđđđđđ mckay was mostly relegated to triage with javadi, and all of the doctors aside from her mostly saw the med students as funny kids. which is fine, the med students are really young, but samira was the only one to welcome whitaker to use her first name and reassure him when he felt humiliated, she was the only one to give whitaker and santos meaningful feedback WITH EXPLANATIONS for why they needed to improve in those areas, she was the only one encouraging whitaker to keep taking ""risky"" cases even after his confidence plummeted like she was SOOOOO kind đ and the fact that her feedback wasn't about the medical procedures, it was about connecting with patients and making them feel heard, none of the other doctors who work with whitaker and santos address that at all.. and she was handling that level of responsibility as a third-year resident!!! and then s2... look at how they massacred my girl.....

personally iâm blaming sighswoon's evil energy for this one idc. but on a serious note i did unfollow the boys accounts, amazon mgm, and primevideo because iâm bitter and they can all get fucked<3
gen v was genuinely better to me. the characters were more fleshed out, the dynamics were stronger, and it filled a space we almost NEVER getâespecially with queer, poc, and female leads. and of course thatâs the show that gets cut. like we really just cannot have anything nice i guess. but sure! letâs greenlight a prequel about a known bigot and nazi. that sounds super necessary and exciting. definitely not something we already have a decent amount of backstory for. and i just know theyâre gonna try and give them some "tragic" backstory to make people sympathize with them likeâŚno thank you??? i do not need a "hereâs why theyâre like this đĽş" for people who are objectively awful and clearly never change???
