I still don't 100% understand what they were going for with that scene of Caine letting go of the Blue AI*, but I'm actually glad they kinda bungled it cuz now we get all these hella rad AUs of people interpreting the meaning and aftermath in different ways.

That's why I enjoyed the finale even though it was mediocre! So many plot holes perfectly sized to be filled with fanworks, plus the ideal amount of frustration about what could've been in order to motivate people!!! That's what it's all about babyyy.

I've had a lot of ideas bouncing around in my brain lately, but the main fanwork I've been focusing on is actually a Royalteeth fanfic that was started as a comic idea that grew too long for me to pull off with the current rusty state of my artistic abilities. . .

My personal headcanon for Caine is that he's asexual and sex-repulsed! I wanted to write something where he thinks sex is an obligatory part of a romantic relationship and he tries forcing himself to like it because he thinks Kinger will be disappointed with him otherwise. Here's some snippets from the first chapter! CW suggestive, mentions of genitalia. . . There isn't anything explicit in the fic cuz Kinger does everything in his power to prevent Caine from following through with something that makes him uncomfortable, but there are some crass jokes. (P.S. to reiterate the bit from my bio, this blog is 18+ only and will likely have some more suggestive content in the future!!!)

It starts off silly and then ends up in "soul-crushing existential angst" territory, as is the TADC tradition. :D I love writing Kinger as a guilt-ridden bastard. . . Canon may not have held him accountable for the shit he pulled, but I sure can!!
