Can someone tell me what type of game these are called. You know, games where enemies spawn and you kill em' and you get upgrades to kill em' better.

Do games like these have a specific category? Games that spawn in enemies, you kill them and get upgrades and stuff?

I play this game on the browser/web because I play this game on chrome os and cant download the game. I don't think that the developers update the game on the web but I just came here to say that I would really like it if they also updated the game on the browser as well, please. :)
