Rosie is playing his therapist and Alastor for once decided to open up about his feelings. It's because he's already told her in details about his most vulnerable and humiliating moment, he may as well tell her, what exactly he feels about it.
That was i think the hardest part for me - i mean figuring out wht would he feel about it, and i tried to think what i would feel, and tried to remember what i heard from people who experienced it (i'm still in shock how many of you guys had to deal with it, it's really devastating. This comic really did bring some awareness, at least to me, about how fucking insanely common it it)
Alastor with his hyperindependence will always blame himself for this deal. When he gets better, it would be just a fact in his head, without feeling of guilt and being angry at his past self, just little bit sad for his lack of understanding.... himself.

it ended today and it’s truly a crime to me that seemingly nobody’s brought weapon x-traction to the attention of the non-comic deadclaws fans. it’s the only comic i’ve read that explicitly calls wade pansexual and emphasizes his queerness without it being the butt of the joke. it’s the only thing i’ve ever read that had me genuinely laughing pretty much the whole time. it has some utterly enchanting art. and as of this week and the last it has deadclaws LITERALLY finding each other in every universe
with everything about this comic taken into account i’m so sure that the subtextual intention for it being romantic was there. because like yeah what the fuck is happening in any of this. what’s happening HERE?
