Game Dev Hobbyist:

Currently working on a game called Megabat a simple puzzle action game. It is still under active development but feel free to play and provide feedback and tell me what you like or dislike about the game.

Tech I use:

• Game Engine: Godot
• Art Editor: Aseprite 
• Music: Audacity, BFXR

Reason I use this tech over others:

• Godot: I've used both Unity and UE4 for a couple different projects and I find them not as intuitive or more cumbersome for what I want to do. There are definitely advantages to using those engines over Godot but I personally find Godot the easiest to use but that's just my opinion.
• Aseprite: It's significantly cheaper then photoshop and it's well worth the $15. I have some 3D experience using Blender but I'm not nearly proficient enough with it to finish a 3D project. I also find pixel art the easiest to produce considering I'm not much of an artist.
• Audacity, BFXR: I don't have much of an opinion on these other then they are free and easy to use. There are other options out there but because of their ease of use I will continue to use them for awhile. Disclaimer: not even close to being an audio designer/engineer so I don't have much experience here either.

Long Term Goals:

• Get a better understanding of the godot engine.
• Release a small polished project.
• Get better at pixel art.
• Learn about making game audio.
• Have fun!
