Abstract

The present invention relates to 1-amino-1-cyclopropanecarboxylic acid hydrochloride salt formulations and methods of their use.

Claims (11)

WHAT IS D IS:
1. A liquid agricultural formulation comprising 1-aminocyclopropanecarboxylic acid hydrochloride salt (ACC HCl salt) about 2.5% w/w of a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether phosphate having a degree of ethoxylation of 5 to 6 moles and water, wherein the formulation has a pH from 2.75 ± 0.3 to 8.5 ± 0.3.
2. The formulation of claim 1, wherein the ACC HCl salt is present at a concentration of about 1% to about 50% weight by weight of the formulation.
3. The ation of claim 1, wherein the ACC HCl salt is present at a concentration of about 5% to about 20% weight by weight of the formulation.
4. The formulation of claim 1, further comprising ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid.
5. An s agricultural formulation comprising: about 5% to about 20% w/w 1-aminocyclopropanecarboxylic acid hydrochloride salt (ACC HCl salt); about 2.5% w/w polyoxyethylene alkyl ether phosphate with a degree of ethoxylation of 5 to 6 moles; about 0.1% to about 1.5% w/w nediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA); and water, wherein the formulation has a pH from 2.75 ± 0.3 to 8.5 ± 0.3 and wherein w/w denotes weight by weight of the formulation.
6. The formulation of claim 5, wherein: the ACC HCl salt is present at a concentration of about 13.6% w/w; the EDTA is present at a concentration of about 0.5% w/w; and the pH is at 4.0 ± 0.3 or 8.0 ± 0.3.
7. A method of reducing crop load comprising applying an effective amount of a formulation of claim 1 to a fruit tree.
8. The method of claim 7, wherein the fruit tree is an apple tree.
9. The method of claim 7, wherein the fruit tree is a stone fruit tree.
10. A method of ing red grape coloration sing co-applying to a grape plant an effective amount of a formulation of claim 1 and S-abscisic acid.
11. The method of claim 10, wherein the grape plant is a Flame seedless variety.
