combination comprising a multi-site contact fungicide, a succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor fungicide and a second systemic fungicide and a method using the same.

Claims (10)

1. A fungicidal combination comprising 5 a) at least one succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor fungicide selected from the group consisting of benzovindiflupyr, fluindapyr, fluxapyroxad, isopyrazam and penthiopyrad; b) at least one multi-site fungicide selected from the group consisting of a chloronitrile, an inorganic fungicide, and mixtures thereof; and 10 c) at least one other fungicide selected from the group consisting of an ergosterol biosynthesis inhibitor fungicide, a quinone outside inhibitor fungicide, and combinations thereof.

The combination as claimed in claim 1 wherein the chloronitrile is chlorothalonil 15 and the inorganic fungicide is selected from the group consisting of copper (II) hydroxide, copper oxychloride, copper (II) sulfate, tribasic copper sulfate, Bordeaux mixture, copper salicylate, cuprous oxide, and sulfur.

The combination as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2, wherein the ergosterol 20 biosynthesis inhibitor fungicide is selected from the group consisting of azaconazole, bitertanol, bromuconazole, cyproconazole, difenoconazole, diniconazole, epoxiconazole, etaconazole, fenbuconazole, fluquinconazole, flusilazole, flutriafol, hexaconazole, imibenconazole, ipconazole, metconazole, myclobutanil, penconazole, Propiconazole, simeconazole, tebuconazole, 25 tetraconazole, triadimefon, triadimenol, triticonazole, prothioconazole, imazalil, oxpoconazole, pefurazoate, prochloraz, triflumizole, fenarimol, nuarimol, pyrifenox, pyrisoxazole, triforine, and mixtures thereof, wherein the quinone outside (Qo) inhibitor fungicide is selected from the group consisting of azoxystrobin, coumoxystrobin, enoxastrobin, flufenoxystrobin, 30 picoxystrobin, pyraoxystrobin, mandestrobin, pyraclostrobin, pyrametostrobin, triclopyricarb, kresoxim-methyl, dimoxystrobin, fenaminostrobin, metominostrobin, trifloxystrobin, famoxadone, fluoxastrobin, fenamidone, pyribencarb, and mixtures thereof.
4. The combination as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 3, formed by admixing in a 5 ratio of (1-80): (1-80): (1-80) the multi-site fungicide, the succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor fungicide and the at least one other fungicide respectively.
5. A fungicidal composition comprising the combination as claimed in any one of 10 claims 1 to 4; and (d) at least one agrochemically acceptable excipient.
6. The composition of claim 5, comprising at least one other agrochemical active. 15
7. The composition of claim 6, wherein the at least one other agrochemical active is selected from one or more of: a herbicide, an insecticide, a miticide, an acaricide, a fertilizer, a plant growth regulator, and a biocide.

The composition as claimed in any one of claims 5 to 7, formulated as a wettable 20 powder, a granule, a dust, a soluble (liquid) concentrate, a suspension concentrate, an oil in water emulsion, a water in oil emulsion, an emulsifiable concentrate, a capsule suspension, a ZC formulation, or an oil dispersion.
9. The composition as claimed in any one of claims 5 to 8 , configured for foliar 25 application, or plant propagation material application.
10. A method of controlling a fungal disease in a plant, the method comprising applying to a locus of the plant the combination as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 4, or the composition of any one of claims 5 to 9.
