Abstract

system for fixing wear elements in earth-moving machines, in particular, to a system for fixing a tooth to a tooth-holder of an earth moving machine, it can also be used for fixing any wear element, including lip guards and side guards. The system for fixing wear elements in earth-moving machines, which comprises a stem (1) that rotates between a locking position and a release position with respect to the wear element (10) and a holder (11), said stem (1) defining an inner end and an outer end, said stem (1) comprising locking elements (2, 3), wherein said stem (1) comprises a first deformable locking element (2) placed at the inner end of said stem (1) and a second locking element (3) arranged shifted towards the outer end of said stem (1), wherein said second locking element (3) is a protrusion perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of said stem (1), wherein the first locking element (2) comprises a tip (18) comprising a greater thickness in a front part of the tip (18). It allows providing a system for fixing wear elements in earth-moving machines that is easy to manipulate and that improves/secures the contacts between the tooth and the tooth-holder.

Claims (16)

1. A system for fixing a wear element (10) in earth-moving machine, comprising a stem (1) that rotates between a locking position and a release position with 5 respect to the wear element (10) and a holder (11), said stem (1) defining an inner end and an outer end, said stem (1) comprising locking elements (2, 3), characterized in that said stem (1) comprises a first deformable locking element (2) placed at the inner end of said stem (1) and a second locking element (3) arranged shifted towards the outer end of said stem (1), wherein 10 said second locking element (3) is a protrusion perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of said stem (1), wherein the first locking element (2) comprises a tip (18) comprising a greater thickness in a front part of the tip (18).
2. The system according to claim 1, wherein said first locking element (2) has a 15 polygonal cross-section.
3. The system according to any one of claims 1 to 2, which also comprises a third locking element (4) placed between the first locking element (2) and the second locking element (3).
4. The system according to claim 3, wherein said third locking element (4) is a deformable protrusion positioned between the first and second locking elements (2, 3). 25
5. The system according to claim 1, wherein said stem (1) comprises a cavity (5) at the outer end of said stem (1).
6. The system according to claim 5, wherein said cavity (5) has a polygonal cross-section.
7. The system according to any one of claims 1 to 6, which also comprises an outer body (6) provided with a through hole (7) for said stem (1), said first locking element (2) and second locking element ( 3) protruding from said outer body (6).
8. The system according to any one of claims 3 and 4, which also comprises an outer body (6) provided with a through hole (7) for said stem (1), the first locking element (2), the second locking element (3) and the third locking element (4) protruding from said outer body (6).
9. The system according to claim 8, wherein said third locking element (4) is housed inside a housing (8) of said outer body (6).
10. The system according to claim 1, wherein said second locking element (3) is 10 in one single piece with the stem (1).
11. The system according to claim 7 or 8, wherein said outer body (6) comprises a bearing surface (14). 15
12. The system according to claim 11, wherein said bearing surface (14) is formed by a lower protrusion on said outer body (6).
13. The system according to claim 9, wherein said housing (8) for the third locking element (4) forms a through hole.
14. The system according to claim 3, wherein said stem (1) comprises a cam- shaped groove (16), and said stem (1), in one position pushes the third locking element (4) to contact the holder (11).
15. The system according to claim 1, wherein the first locking element (2) comprises a beveled tip (18). 30
16. The system according to claim 1, wherein the second locking element (3) comprises a ramp (17) in an area joining the stem (1).
