Abstract
[Problem] To provide a vibrating screen device with which it is possible to prevent damage to a screen caused by the materials being sifted. [Solution] A vibrating screen device 1 provided with a screen 3 for sifting a mixture M containing multiple materials having different sizes. A protective plate 10 is provided to the feeding end positioned in the screen 3 on the side opposite the discharge end, at which the sifted recovered material MR is discharged, such that the upper face of the screen 3 is covered. If the mixture M fed to the screen 3 is made to fall on the protective plate 10, the protective plate 10 can receive the impact of the fallen mixture. As a result, it is possible to prevent damage to the screen 3 even if a special high-strength screen is not used or a special structure for preventing screen damage is not adopted, and so an increase in the cost and complexity of equipment can be prevented.
