DESIGN FOR A BEDSPREAD.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,294, dated May 7', 1895.

Be it known that I, WILLIAM WHITE, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city, county, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Bedspread, of which the following is a specication.

The leading feature of my design consists in a bedspread of essentially the configuration and representation herein described and shown in the accompanying drawing, forming part hereof, which drawing exhibits a quarter section of my design, it being understood that the remaining sections of the spread present an appearance similar to the section illustrated.

In the drawing, A is a rosette composed of conventionalized leaves a a o edged by bands e e'. Adjacent to the rosette are bands b D',

the space between the bands being occupied by interlocked rings c c. The cuter band b' is bordered by a border consisting of interlocked zigzag bands d cl. Outside of the band last described are bands e e' running laterally and longitudinally ofthe spread, and adjacent to these bands are scrolls g g h h.

The entire spread is bordered by a barred border consisting of angular bands jj. The spaces between the various bands, leaves and scrolls are filled in with a suitable filling Z.

Vifhat I claim is- The design for a bed-spread, substantially as herein shown and described.
