Abstract

On obtient du chlorure de polyvinyle (PVC) expansé par mélange de 100 parties en poids de PVC avec 0,5 à 6 parties en poids d'alkylsulphonate de sodium, par formage de la composition obtenue et expansion par chauffage entre 190 et 300 °C pendant 3 à 20 minutes. Le formage a lieu soit sous 0,5 à 400 MPa entre 20 à 170 °C, avec chauffage ultérieur entre 140 à 150 °C dans un volume fermé, ou à l'état libre, sous la forme d'une couche d'une épaisseur comprise entre 2 et 16 mm. Dans le dernier cas la couche, avant formage, peut être soumise à un compactage.
