Abstract
The invention relates to a document, which is protected against falsification and/or forgery and in which one of the protective elements is the so-called hidden image (4), which can be easily manufactured and is visible when illuminated either by natural or artificial light under appropriate angle and is moreover protected against damages during the use of the document, and when desired also at least optionally tangible by fingers, while due to manufacturing the said hidden image as such also the whole document data-carrying page (1) which is previously equipped with all required data as well as with any other protective elements, is protected against damages and falsification. Such document consists of at least one page (1), which is on at least one of its surfaces (11) equipped with printed and/or other protective elements and above which a transparent multi-layer coating (2) is placed in a non-removable manner. The said coating (2) comprises at least one transparent adhesive layer (20), which is placed on a surface faced towards the protected document (1), and furthermore at least one transparent coating layer (21, 22) with incorporated hidden image (4) in its regular or inverted appearance, and also at least one protective lacquer layer (23).
