[0001] 本発明は、プロピレンと酸素と水素からプロピレンオキサイドを製造する方法に関す るものである。
背景技術
[0002] パラジウム及び TS— 1を触媒として水素/酸素/プロピレンからプロピレンォキサ イドを製造する反応に水'メタノールを溶媒として用い、水酸化アンモニゥムを添加す るとプロピレンオキサイド生成量が増え、プロパン副生量が減ると報告されている(例 えば、特許文献 1参照)。さらに、パラジウム及び TS— 1を触媒として水素/酸素/ プロピレンからプロピレンオキサイドを製造する反応に、水'メタノールを溶媒として用 レ、、炭酸水素アンモニゥム塩を添加する方法(特許文献 2)、あるいはリン酸セシウム を水溶媒に添加して用いる方法 (特許文献 3)が報告されてレ、る。特許文献 2 (段落 0 008)および特許文献 3 (段落 0009)においては、プロピレンの酸化には、比較的小 さレ、細孔のチタンゼォライトであるチタンシリカライトが好ましく、 TS - 1チタンシリカラ イトの使用が断然有利であると記載されている。し力 ながら、これらの方法は、反応 の効率の点で必ずしも満足のレ、くものではない。
また、酸素 12員環細孔をもつ、 Ti_MWW触媒や Ti_MWWの前駆体である層 状のチタノシリケートと Pdを含む触媒を用レ、、ァセトニトリル溶媒として水素 Z酸素 Z プロピレンからプロピレンオキサイドを製造する方法が報告されている(例えば、非特 許文献 1参照)。し力しながら、その効率も必ずしも十分とは言えない。

発明の開示 発明が解決しょうとする課題
[0004] 本発明は、貴金属触媒および酸素 12員環以上の細孔を有するチタノシリケートか らなる触媒の存在下にプロピレンと酸素と水素からプロピレンオキサイドをより効率的 に製造する方法を提供する。
課題を解決するための手段
[0005] すなわち、本発明は、プロピレン、酸素および水素を、水、二トリル化合物およびァ ンモニゥム塩を含む溶液中、貴金属触媒および酸素 12員環以上の細孔を有するチ タノシリケート(以下、「本発明のチタノシリケート」と略記することもある)触媒の存在下 、反応させることを特徴とするプロピレンオキサイドの製造方法に係るものである。 発明の効果
[0006] 本発明によれば、プロピレンと酸素と水素から効率良くプロピレンオキサイドを製造 すること力 Sできる。
発明を実施するための最良の形態
[0007] 本発明で用いられる貴金属触媒としては、典型的には、パラジウム、白金、ルテニゥ ム、ロジウム、イリジウム、オスミウム、金またはそれらの合金もしくは混合物があげられ る。好ましい貴金属触媒としては、パラジウム、白金、金があげられる。さらに好ましい 貴金属触媒はパラジウムである。
[0008] パラジウムには、白金、金、ロジウム、イリジウム、オスミウムなどを添カ卩混合して用い ることができる。このうち好ましい添カ卩金属としては、白金があげられる。
[0009] 貴金属触媒は、通常、担体に担持して使用される。貴金属触媒は、本発明のチタノ シリケ一トに担持して使用することもできるし、当該チタノシリケート以外の担体である シリカ、アルミナ、チタニア、ジルコニァ、二オビア等の酸化物、ニオブ酸、ジルコニゥ ム酸、タングステン酸、チタン酸または炭素およびそれらの混合物に担持してもよい。 本発明のチタノシリケート以外の担体に貴金属触媒を担持させた場合、貴金属触媒 を担持した担体を、本発明のチタノシリケートと混合し、当該混合物を触媒として使用 することができる。本発明のチタノシリケート以外の担体のなかでは、炭素が好ましい 担体として挙げられる。 [0010] 貴金属触媒を担持する方法としては、貴金属粒子をクェン酸、ポリビニルアルコー ル、ポリビュルピロリドン、へキサメタリン酸ナトリウム等の分散剤で分散させた貴金属 のコロイド溶液を担体上に含浸法等によって担持し、不活性ガス下にて焼成する方 法があげられる。
[0011] これと異なって、貴金属源となる貴金属化合物、硝酸パラジウム等の貴金属の硝酸 塩、硫酸パラジウム 2水和物等の硫酸塩、塩化パラジウム等の貴金属のハロゲンィ匕 物、酢酸パラジウムカルボン酸塩、あるいはテトラアンミンパラジウム塩ィヒ物水和物等 のアンミン錯体等を担体上に含浸法等によって担持した後、還元剤を用いて還元す ることにより調製することもできるし、あるいは水酸化ナトリウム等のアルカリを用いて ー且貴金属の水酸化物にした後、還元剤を用いて液相あるいは気相で還元すること により調製することもできる。
[0012] 液相で還元する場合の還元剤としては、水素、ヒドラジン 1水和物、ホルムアルデヒ ド、水素化ホウ素ナトリウム等があげられる。ヒドラジン 1水和物やホルムアルデヒドを 用いる場合には、アルカリを添加して実施してもよい。
[0013] 気相で還元する場合の還元の還元剤としては、水素があげられる。水素ガス存在 下にて貴金属源を担持した担体を焼成 ·還元することにより調製することもできる。好 適に還元する温度は、担持した貴金属源により異なる力 通常、 0°Cから 500°Cであ る。
[0014] 一方、 Pdテトラアンミンクロリド等の貴金属のアンミン錯体を用いて担体上に含浸法 等によって担持し、不活性ガス下、熱分解時に発生するアンモニアガスにて還元す る方法も可能である。還元温度は、貴金属アンミン錯体によって異なるが Pdテトラァ ンミンク口リドを用レヽた場合 fま、通常、 100。C力ら 500。Cであり、 200°C力ら 350。C力 好ましレ、。いずれの方法においても、必要により、得られた触媒を不活性ガス、アン モニァガス、真空、水素或いは空気の中での熱処理を行い活性化することもできる。
[0015] 力べして、得られる貴金属触媒担持物は、貴金属触媒を、通常、 0. 01〜20重量% の範囲、好ましくは 0.:!〜 5重量%含むものである。
[0016] 本明細書において、酸素 12員環以上の細孔を有するチタノシリケートにおける、細 孔とは、 Si Oあるいは Ti O結合から構成される細孔を意味し、 1次粒子で構成さ れるような粒子間の細孔は含まない。
これらのチタノシリケート細孔直径は、結晶性チタノシリケートや層状チタノシリケー トで通常 0. 6nm〜: 1. Onm、メソポーラスチタノシリケートで通常 2nm〜: !Onmである チタノシリケートの組成は、通常、下記の式 (I)で表すことができる。

通常、チタノシリケートの Tiは、 SiO骨格内に入っており、 Siの一部が Tiに置き換

わった構造である。 Tiが SiO骨格内に入っていることは、紫外可視吸収スペクトル、

チタン K殻 XAFS分析等により容易に確認できる。
[0017] 本発明のチタノシリケートを合成する一般的な方法は、型剤あるいは構造規定剤と して界面活性剤を使用し、チタン化合物とケィ素化合物を加水分解させ、必要に応じ て水熱合成等で結晶化あるいは細孔規則性を向上させた後、焼成あるいは抽出によ り界面活性剤を除去する方法である。
Ti— MWW構造を持つ結晶性チタノシリケートの一般的な調製方法としては、例え ば Chemistry Letters 774 - 775, (2000)ゃ特開 2003— 327425号公報、あるレヽ は Chemical Communications 1026— 1027, (2002)等に記載されている方法が知 られている。即ち、ケィ素化合物およびチタン化合物を構造規定剤存在下、加水分 解しゲルを調製する。得られたゲルを水熱合成等により水存在下で加熱処理を行レ、 層状の結晶前駆体を調製する。層状の結晶前駆体を、焼成により結晶化して MWW 構造を持つ結晶性チタノシリケートを調製する。
[0018] 酸素 12員環以上の細孔を有するチタノシリケートとしては、具体的には、 Ti- Beta
(例えば、 Journal of Catalysis 199, 41—47, (2001 ) )、 Ti_ZSM_ 12 (例えば、 Zeolites 15, 236— 242, (1995) )、 TAPSO— 5 (f列え ίま、、 Zeolites 15, 228 - 235 , (1995) )、 Ti— M〇R (例えば、 The Journal of Physical Chemistry B 102, 9297 — 9303 (1998) )、 Ti— ITQ— 7 (例えば、 Chemical Communications 761— 762, ( 2000) )、 Ti— UTD— 1 (例えば、 Zeolites 15, 519— 525, (1995) )、 Ti— MWW 等の酸素 12員環以上の細孔を有する結晶性チタノシリケート、 Ti MWW前駆体の ような酸素 12員環以上の細孔を有する層状チタノシリケート、 Ti-MCM-41 (例え ば、 Microporous Materials 10, 259— 271 , (1997) )、 Ti_MCM_48 (例えば、 C hemical Communications 145— 146, (1996) )、 Ti— SBA— 15 (例えば、 Chemistr y of Materials 14, 1657 - 1664, (2002) )等のメソポーラスチタノシリケートがあげ られる。好ましいチタノシリケートとしては、 Ti_MWWまたは Ti_MWW前駆体、更 に好ましいチタノシリケートとしては、 Ti_MWWがあげられる。
[0019] 酸素 12員環以上の細孔を有するチタノシリケートには、例えば、 1 , 1, 1, 3, 3, 3
一へキサメチルジシラザン等のシリル化剤を、当該チタノシリケートに作用させシリノレ 化した酸素 12員環以上の細孔を有するチタノシリケートも含まれる。シリルイ匕すること で、さらに活性あるいは選択性を改良することができ、力かるシリル化により得られた シリル化チタノシリケートも(例えば、シリル化 Ti— MWW)好ましいものとして使用さ れる。
[0020] また、チタノシリケートは、適切な濃度の過酸化水素溶液で処理することにより活性 化し使用することもできる。通常、過酸化水素溶液の濃度は 0. 0001重量%〜50重 量%の範囲で実施することができる。過酸化水素溶液の溶媒は、特に限定されない 力 水あるいはプロピレンオキサイド合成反応に用いる溶媒が、工業的に簡便であり 、好ましい。
[0021] 貴金属触媒の酸素 12員環以上の細孔を有するチタノシリケートに対する重量比( 貴金属触媒の重量/チタノシリケートの重量)は、好ましくは、 0. 01〜: 100重量%、 より好ましくは、 0.:!〜 20重量%である。
[0022] 二トリル化合物としては、直鎖または分岐鎖飽和脂肪族二トリルまたは芳香族二トリ ルがあげられる。二トリル化合物としては、ァセトニトリル、プロピオ二トリル、イソブチロ 二トリル、ブチロニトリル等の C 〜Cのアルキル二トリルおよびべンゾニトリルが例示さ

れ、ァセトニトリルが好ましい。通常、水と二トリル化合物の比率は、重量比で 90 : 10 〜0. 01 : 99. 99であり、好ましく ίま、 50 : 50〜0. 1 : 99. 9である。水の];匕率力大きく なりすぎると、プロピレンオキサイドが水と反応して開環劣化しやすくなる場合があり、 プロピレンオキサイドの生成活性が低くなる場合もある。逆に二トリル化合物の比率が 大きくなりすぎると、溶媒の回収コストが高くなる。 [0023] アンモニゥム塩としては、下記式 (II)で表される化合物を用いることができる。

[0024] Xで表される酸のイオンとしては、硫酸イオン、硫酸水素イオン、炭酸イオン、炭酸 水素イオン、リン酸イオン、リン酸水素イオン、リン酸 2水素イオン、ピロリン酸水素ィォ ン、ピロリン酸イオン、ハロゲンイオン、硝酸イオンなどの無機酸のイオン、酢酸イオン などの有機酸 (例えばカルボン酸)イオンなどが例示される。
[0025] 式(II)のアンモニゥムとしては、硫酸アンモニゥム、硫酸水素アンモニゥム、炭酸ァ ンモニゥム、炭酸水素アンモニゥム、リン酸水素 2アンモニゥム、リン酸 2水素アンモニ ゥム、リン酸アンモニゥム、ピロリン酸水素アンモニゥム、ピロリン酸アンモニゥム、塩化 アンモニゥム、硝酸アンモニゥム等の無機酸のアンモニゥム塩および酢酸アンモニゥ ム等の有機酸のアンモニゥム塩等が例示される。好ましいアンモニゥム塩としては、リ ン酸 2水素アンモニゥムがあげられる。

アルキルアンモニゥムとしては、例えば、テトラメチルアンモニゥム、テトラエチルアン モニゥム、テトラ _n—プロピルアンモニゥム、テトラ _n—ブチルアンモニゥムもしくは セチルトリメチルアンモニゥムが例示される。アルキルアンモニゥム塩としては、これら のアルキルアンモニゥムの、硫酸塩、硫酸水素塩、炭酸塩、炭酸水素塩、リン酸水素 塩、リン酸 2水素塩、リン酸塩、ピロリン酸水素塩、ピロリン酸塩、塩化物等のハロゲン 化物、酢酸塩等が例示される。
[0027] 添加するアンモニゥム塩の量は単位溶媒重量 (水および二トリル化合物の合計重 量)あたり、通常、 0. 001mmolZkg〜100mmolZkgである。アンモニゥム塩の量 が少なすぎると効果が表われ難くなり、多すぎるとプラント内で析出して詰まりの原因 となる可能性が高くなるおそれがある。
[0028] 式(II)のアンモニゥム塩は、水酸化アンモニゥムあるいは水酸化アルキルアンモニ ゥムを、上記の Xで表される酸のァニオンとプロトンからなる酸、好ましくは、これら酸 のうち緩衝剤となるリン酸、炭酸水素、リン酸水素、リン酸 2水素、ピロリン酸水素、ピロ リン酸等を反応系内に加え、反応系内で所望のアンモニゥム塩を発生させ使用して ちょい。
[0029] 溶液の pH値は、高くなりすぎると、プロピレンオキサイド生成活性が低下する場合 があり、また一方で pHが低くなりすぎるとプロパン副生が増大したり、プロピレンォキ サイド生成活性が低下したりして、プロピレンオキサイド選択率が低下する場合があり 、さらには、酸あるいはアルカリによりプロピレンオキサイドが開環劣化するため pHが 高くなりすぎても低くなりすぎてもプロピレンオキサイド選択率は低下する。従って、好 ましくは、 pH値が 3. 0〜6. 6の溶液が使用される。より好ましくは、 pH値が 5. 0〜6 . 6であるものが使用される。
[0030] pH値を好ましい範囲に設定して使用する場合、 1種類のアンモニゥム塩のみを溶 液に添加して pH値が好ましい範囲に入らないときは、酸、塩基、緩衝剤等と組み合 わせて使用することができる。また、例えば水酸化アンモニゥムや、炭酸アンモニゥム 、炭酸水素アンモニゥム、リン酸水素 2アンモニゥムのような塩基性アンモニゥム塩を 添加する場合、 pH計で測定した pH値が 6. 6よりも高くなることがある力 その場合は 、更に酸あるいは緩衝剤等をカ卩えて、水、二トリルイ匕合物およびアンモニゥム塩を含 む溶液の pH値 (pH計で測定した溶液の pH値)を好ましレ、範囲である pH3. 0〜6. 6、あるいはより好ましい pH5. 0〜6. 6に調整しては使用する。
[0031] 硫酸水素アンモニゥム等のアンモニゥム塩をカ卩えた場合、 pH計で測定した pH値が
5. 0よりも低くなることがある力 その場合は、更に塩基あるいは緩衝剤等を適宜カロえ て、 pH計で測定した溶媒の pH値をより好ましい 5. 0〜6. 6にして使用することもで きる。
[0032] 力べして pH計で測定した pH値が好ましい範囲になるように pH値を調製された水、 二トリル化合物およびアンモニゥム塩を含む溶液を反応器に供給して、本発明の製 造方法は典型的には実施される。
[0033] 本発明の反応は、加圧条件や高温条件で行われることもあるため反応係内での溶 液の pHを測定した場合、その条件により pH測定値が異なる場合も考えられるが、本 発明の方法においては、 pH値は、反応系に供給するため調整された溶液を 20°C〜 25°Cで pH計で測定して得られた測定値を意味するものである。
[0034] 本発明における pH計による pH値の測定方法は、通常以下の方法による。
まず、比較電極にはダブルジャンクションのスリーブ式比較電極を用意する。次に、 一般に水が溶媒として使用される比較電極の外筒液の KC1溶液を、 IUPACにより推 奨される有機溶媒系での pH測定方法(Pure and Applied Chemistry 59, 1549— 15 60, (1987)参照)と同様に被検液に変更する。この際、 IUPACの方法と同様に、 測定に使用する溶媒の KC1溶液に 0. 05mol/kgのフタル酸水素カリウムをバッファ 一として予め添加しておく。 KC1溶液は、通常、飽和溶液が使用される。この比較電 極を用いて pHを測定することにより、本発明における pH計による pHを測定すること ができる。なお、本発明における pH計で測定した pH値は 20°C〜25°Cで測定した p H値を意味するので、測定温度も 20°C〜 25°Cの間で実施する。
[0035] pH計で測定する場合の pH値は、通常、基準電極と比較電極間を用いて液間起電 力を測定し、その値から pHを求めているが、実際は理論値と違う勾配や不斉電位差 の発生などから、予めキャリブレーションを行う必要がある。通常、水溶媒中でキヤリ ブレーシヨンが行われ、測定も水溶媒中で行われるが、有機溶媒を混合した場合、よ り正確な pH値を求めるためには、溶媒の組成が異なる毎にキャリブレーションを行つ た方が良いが、測定する液が変わる毎にキャリブレーションを行う作業は煩雑のため 、本発明においては、水溶媒中でキャリブレーションを行った pH計で測定した pH値 を用いるものである。
[0036] 本発明による反応の反応方法としては、流通式固定床反応、流通式スラリー完全 混合反応等があげられる。
[0037] 反応器に供給する酸素と水素の分圧比は、通常、 1: 50〜50: 1の範囲で実施され る。好ましい酸素と水素の分圧比は、 1 : 2〜: 10 : 1である。何れの範囲においても爆 発範囲外で実施することが安全上好ましレ、。酸素と水素の分圧比(酸素/水素)が高 すぎるとプロピレンオキサイドの生成速度が低下する場合がある。また、酸素と水素の 分圧比(酸素 Z水素)が低すぎると、プロパン副生の増大によりプロピレンオキサイド の選択率が低下する場合がある。
[0038] 反応で用いられる酸素および水素ガスは希釈用のガスで希釈して反応を行うことが できる。希釈用のガスとしては、窒素、アルゴン、二酸化炭素、メタン、ェタン、プロパ ンがあげられる。希釈用ガスの濃度に特に制限は無いが、必要により、酸素あるいは 水素を希釈して、反応は行われる。
[0039] 酸素としては、酸素ガス、あるいは空気等の分子状酸素があげられる。酸素ガスは 安価な圧力スウィング法で製造した酸素ガスも使用できるし、必要に応じて深冷分離 等で製造した高純度酸素ガスを用いることもできる。
[0040] 本反応における反応温度は、通常 0°C〜150°C、好ましくは 40°C〜90°Cである。
反応温度が低すぎると反応速度が遅くなり、反応温度が高くなりすぎると副反応に よる副生成物が増加するおそれがある。
[0041] 反応圧力は、特に制限は無レ、が、通常、ゲージ圧力で 0. lMPa〜20MPa、好ま しくは、 IMPa〜: !OMPaである。反応圧力が低すぎると原料ガスの溶解が不十分と なり、反応速度が遅くなり、反応圧力が高すぎると反応に係わる機器のコストが増大 するおそれがある。
[0042] 反応後、反応器力 取り出した液相もしくは気相を蒸留分離することにより目的物を 得ること力 Sできる。
以下、実施例により本発明を説明するが、本発明は、これらの実施例に限定される ものではない。
実施例 1
[0043] 用いた Ti—MWWは、 Chemistry Letters 774- 775, (2000)に記載の方法によ り調製した。
室温、 Air雰囲気下、オートクレーブにピぺリジン 9. lkg、純水 25. 6kg、ホウ酸 6. 2kg、TB〇T (テトラー n—ブチルオルソチタネート) 0· 54kg,ヒュームドシリカ(cab_o -sil M7D) 4. 5kgからなるゲルを撹拌しながら調製し、 1. 5時間熟成させた後、密閉 した。さらに撹拌しながら 10時間かけて昇温した後、 170°Cで 168時間保持すること で、水熱合成を行い、懸濁溶液を得た。得られた懸濁溶液をろ過した後、ろ液が pH 10付近になるまで水洗した。つぎにろ塊を 50°Cで乾燥し、未だ水を含んだ状態の白 色粉末を得た。得られた粉末 350 gに 13重量%の硝酸 3. 5Lをカ卩え、 20時間リフラ ックスさせた。次いで、ろ過し、中性付近まで水洗し、 50°Cで十分乾燥して 98gの白 色粉末を得た。この白色粉末を銅 K一アルファ放射線を使用した X線回折装置を用 レ、て X線回折パターンを測定した結果、 Ti_MWW前駆体であることが確認された。 得られた Ti MWWを 530°Cで 6時間焼成し、 Ti MWW粉末を得た。得られた粉 末が MWW構造を持つことは、 X線回折パターンを測定することにより確認し、 ICP発 光分析によるチタン含量は 0. 9重量%であった。
[0044] 同じく本反応に用いた Pd/カーボンブラック(CB)触媒は、米国特許出願公開第 2 005— 0014636号公報に記載の方法に従レヽ、調製した。 500mLナスフラスコ中に 、塩化パラジウム 0. 56mmol、塩化白金 0· 006mmol、ポリアクリル酸ナトリウム(分 子量: 1200、 1. 27mmol)、塩化水素 30mmolを含む水溶液 500mLを混合し、室 温、 Air雰囲気下で 1時間攪拌した。この混合液に室温にて 20分間、水素ガスを 100 mL/分で導入し、 Pdコロイドを形成させた。上記のコロイド溶液に市販の CB (シー スト 9、東海カーボン株式会社製) 6gを加え、 8時間攪拌した。攪拌終了後、ロータリ 一エバポレータを用いて水分を除去し、さらに 50°Cにて 12時間真空乾燥を行った。 得られた前駆体粉末を窒素雰囲気下 300°Cで 6時間焼成し、 Pd/CBを得た。 ICP 発光分析によるパラジウム含量は 1. 01重量%であり、白金含量は 0. 02重量%であ つた。
[0045] 反応は容量 0. 5Lのオートクレーブを反応器として用レ、、この中に、プロピレン/酸 素 Z水素 Z窒素の体積比が 4Z1Z8Z87となる原料ガスを 16L/時間、 0. 7mmo 1/kgのリン酸 2水素アンモニゥムを含む水 Zァセトニトリル = 20Z80 (重量比)の溶 液 (PH計の示した値: 6. 05)を 108mL/時間の速度で供給し、反応器からフィルタ 一を介して反応混合物の液相を抜き出すことにより、温度 60°C、圧力 0. 8MPa (ゲ ージ圧)、滞留時間 90分の条件で連続式反応を行った。この間、反応器内の反応混 合物中には、反応溶媒 131g、 Ti—MWWO. 133g、 Pd/CBO. 03gを存在させた 。反応開始から 5時間後に抜き出した液相および気相をガスクロマトグラフィーを用い て分析した結果、単位 Ti_MWW重量あたりのプロピレンオキサイド生成活性は 3. 28mmol - PO/g - Ti - MWW - h,プロピレン基準の選択率 72%、水素基準の選 択率(生成したプロピレンオキサイドモル量/消費した水素モル量) 35%であった。 実施例 2
[0046] 実施例 1で得られた Ti MWW粉末 0. 6gを、 0. 1重量%の過酸化水素を含む水 /ァセトニトリル = 20/80 (重量比)の溶液 100gで室温下、 1時間処理し、 500mL の水で洗浄後、ろ過したものを反応に用いた。また、 0. 7mmol/kgのリン酸 2水素 アンモニゥムを含む水/ァセトニトリル = 20/80の溶液の代わりに、 0. 7mmol/kg の硝酸アンモニゥムを含む水/ァセトニトリル = 20/80の溶液(pH計の示した値: 5 . 50)を用いて反応操作をおこなった。上記以外は、実施例 1と同様の操作を行った 。反応開始から 5時間後に抜き出した液相および気相をガスクロマトグラフィーを用い て分析した結果、単位 Ti_MWW重量あたりのプロピレンオキサイド生成活性 2. 64 mmol - PO/g-Ti- MWW · プロピレン基準の選択率 67%、水素基準の選択 率 23%であった。
実施例 3
[0047] 0. 7mmol/kgの硝酸アンモニゥムを含む水/ァセトニトリル = 20/80の溶液の 代わりに、 0. 7mmol/kgの硫酸水素アンモニゥムを含む水/ァセトニトリル = 20/ 80の溶液 (pH計の示した値: 3. 37)を用いた以外は、実施例 2と同様の操作を行つ た。反応開始から 5時間後に抜き出した液相および気相をガスクロマトグラフィーを用 レ、て分析した結果、単位 Ti MWW重量あたりのプロピレンオキサイド生成活性 2. 44mmol - PO/g - Ti - MWW - プロピレン基準の選択率 61%、水素基準の選 択率 19%を与えた。

[0048] 0. 7mmolZkgのリン酸 2水素アンモニゥムを含む水 Ζァセトニトリル = 20/80の 溶液の代わりに、 6. 3mmol/kgの水酸化アンモニゥムを含む水/メタノール = 22 Z78の溶液を用い、 Ti_MWWの代わりに 1. 3重量%のチタンを含む TS— 1を用 いた以外は、実施例 1と同様の操作を行った。反応開始から 5時間後に抜き出した液 相および気相をガスクロマトグラフィーを用いて分析した結果、単位 TS— 1重量あた りのプロピレンオキサイド生成活性 0. 03mmol_P〇/g_TS _ l 'h、プロピレン基 準の選択率 7%、水素基準の選択率 6%を与えた。

[0049] 0. 7mmolZkgのリン酸 2水素アンモニゥムを含む水 Zァセトニトリル = 20/80の 溶液の代わりに、添加剤を含まない水/ァセトニトリル = 20Z80の溶液 (PH計の示 した値: 6. 75)を用いた以外は、実施例 1と同様の操作を行った。反応開始から 5時 間後に抜き出した液相および気相をガスクロマトグラフィーを用いて分析した結果、 単位 Ti MWW重量あたりのプロピレンオキサイド生成活性 1. 02mmol-PO/g —Ti—MWW'h、プロピレン基準の選択率 50%、水素基準の選択率 11 %を与えた 産業上の利用可能性
[0050] 以上記載したごとぐ本発明によれば、貴金属および酸素 12員環以上の細孔を有 するチタノシリケートを含む触媒を用いてプロピレンと酸素と水素からプロピレンォキ サイドをより効率的に製造する方法が提供できる。

Claims

請求の範囲
[1] プロピレン、酸素および水素を、水、二トリル化合物およびアンモニゥム塩を含む溶 液中、貴金属触媒および酸素 12員環以上の細孔を有するチタノシリケート触媒の存 在下、反応させることを特徴とするプロピレンオキサイドの製造方法。
[2] 水、二トリル化合物およびアンモニゥム塩を含む溶液が pH値 3· 0〜6. 6を示す溶 液である請求項 1記載の製造方法。
[3] 水、二トリル化合物およびアンモニゥム塩を含む溶液の pH値が 5. 0〜6. 6である 請求項 1記載の製造方法。
[4] アンモニゥム塩が、リン酸 2水素アンモニゥムである請求項 1から 3の何れかに記載 の製造方法。
[5] 二トリル化合物がァセトニトリルである請求項 1から 4の何れかに記載の製造方法。
[6] 貴金属触媒がパラジウムである請求項 1から 5の何れかに記載の製造方法。
[7] 酸素 12員環以上の細孔を有するチタノシリケートが Ti_MWW、 Ti_MWW前駆 体またはシリルイ匕した Ti_MWWである請求項 1から 6の何れかに記載の製造方法。
