For example, when the monitoring control unit 17 determines a new monitoring target vehicle, a monitoring task that monitors the vehicle is performed. Is performed when deciding which monitor to assign.
- step S201 the monitoring control unit 17 determines whether or not there is a monitor to which a monitoring task has not been assigned. If it is determined that there is a monitor to which no monitoring task is assigned (Yes in step S201), the process proceeds to step S211; otherwise (No in step S201), the process proceeds to step S202.
- step S202 the monitoring control unit 17 acquires information related to monitoring by a monitor to which the monitoring task is assigned. Note that the above information corresponds to first monitoring information.
- step S203 the monitoring control unit 17 acquires information on monitoring of a vehicle that is not monitored, that is, a vehicle that is to be monitored from now on. Note that the above information corresponds to the second monitoring information.
- step S204 the monitoring control unit 17 compares the first monitoring information with the second monitoring information. Then, the monitoring control unit 17 attempts to select one monitor who monitors the vehicle to be monitored according to the result of the comparison. If the selection is successful, the monitoring of the vehicle to be monitored is assigned to the selected one monitoring person. For example, the monitoring control unit 17 may set a monitoring task that is executing a monitoring task having a lower priority than the priority of the new monitoring task, or a monitoring task having the same or similar attribute as the attribute of the new monitoring task. Select the running monitor, etc.
- step S211 the monitoring control unit 17 assigns a monitoring task for monitoring a vehicle to be monitored to a monitor to which no monitoring task has been assigned.
- step S204 or S211 the series of processes shown in FIG. 8 ends.

- step S204 if one monitor cannot be determined, that is, if there is no monitor to be selected according to the result of the comparison, the monitoring control unit 17 sets the monitoring target vehicle To a safe state. Specifically, when the vehicle to be monitored is running, the vehicle is shifted to a safe state by performing control such as moving the vehicle to a road shoulder, reducing the speed, or stopping the vehicle.
- the estimated end time of monitoring of the first vehicle of each of the plurality of observers is acquired, and when there is no observer to be selected according to the result of the comparison, the estimated end time of the plurality of observers is determined.
- the monitoring person with the earliest time (corresponding to the fourth monitoring person) may be selected.
- the recommendation unit 15 may generate recommendation information for recommending a vehicle to be monitored by a monitor in the future to the monitor based on the acquired vehicle information, operation information, and monitor information. If monitoring is required in the future, for example, if the vehicle enters an intersection where no traffic light is installed, if it enters a position where automatic driving frequently stops, or if an accident or construction has blocked the lane. There are cases such as entering the position where it is.
- the recommendation unit 15 acquires information that specifies a request time point at which monitoring of the vehicle is requested, based on the vehicle information and the operation information. Then, based on the recommendation information generated by the recommendation unit 15, the monitoring control unit 17 generates monitoring information indicating a vehicle to be monitored in the future, and the video management unit 18 displays the presentation information based on the generated monitoring information. Is generated and presented to the display device 30. At this time, the video management unit 18 can present the presentation information before the request time arrives, and the presentation information can further include the content of monitoring. By doing so, there is an advantage that the monitoring person can be notified of the monitoring.
- the monitoring control unit 17 further obtains status information indicating the status of the monitor assigned to monitoring the first vehicle (that is, the first monitor), and according to the comparison result and the obtained status information.
- presentation information may be generated to prompt the first monitor to be replaced by a monitor different from the first monitor. If the observer performs the monitoring operation continuously for a long time, a mental state in which he or she cannot focus on the monitoring operation due to fatigue or a decrease in concentration may result in insufficient or inappropriate monitoring. Therefore, the monitoring control unit 17 refers to the monitoring person table 19A, the task table 19B, and the like, and determines that the monitoring person has continuously performed the monitoring operation for a predetermined time (for example, one hour or three hours). In this case, presentation information that prompts the change of the monitoring person to another monitoring person is generated and presented on the display device 30. By doing so, the original observer can take a break from the work of monitoring.
- FIG. 9 is a block diagram illustrating a configuration of an information processing system 10A according to the present modification.
- the following configuration included in the information processing system 10A according to the present modification can be achieved by using a computer, more specifically, by causing a processor to execute a predetermined program using a memory.
- the information processing system 10A includes a first acquisition unit 71, a second acquisition unit 72, a comparison unit 73, a generation unit 74, and an output unit 75.
- the first acquisition unit 71 acquires first information related to monitoring by a monitor assigned to monitoring the first vehicle.
- the first acquisition unit 71 corresponds to the task management unit 19.

- the comparison unit 73 corresponds to the monitoring control unit 17.
- the generator 74 generates presentation information indicating monitoring of the second vehicle according to the result of the comparison.
- the generation unit 74 corresponds to a function of the video management unit 18 for generating presentation information.
- the output unit 75 presents the generated presentation information via a presentation device.
- the output unit 75 corresponds to a function of presenting presentation information in the video management unit 18.
- the information processing system 10A can reduce the monitoring burden on the monitor.
- FIG. 10 is a flowchart showing an information processing method according to this modification. The following processes included in the information processing method according to the present modification can be performed using a computer.
- step S301 first information regarding monitoring by a monitor assigned to monitor the first vehicle is obtained.
- step S302 second information regarding monitoring of a second vehicle that is not monitored by the monitor is acquired.
- step S303 the first information and the second information are compared.
- step S304 presentation information indicating monitoring of the second vehicle is generated according to the result of the comparison.
- step S305 the generated presentation information is presented via a presentation device.
- the presentation information indicating the monitoring of the second vehicle is generated according to the result of the comparison between the first information and the second information.
- the monitoring of the second vehicle can be presented in consideration of the relationship between the monitoring of the first vehicle and the monitoring of the second vehicle that has already been performed. Therefore, an appropriate observer can monitor the second vehicle as compared with a case where one or both of the monitoring of the first vehicle and the monitoring of the second vehicle that have already been performed are not considered. Therefore, the monitoring burden on the monitoring person can be reduced.
- the monitoring of the second vehicle is determined based on the comparison of the monitoring attributes. Therefore, it is easy to design a comparison process for determining monitoring of the second vehicle.
- the monitoring of the second vehicle is determined based on the comparison of the monitoring priorities. Therefore, it is possible to determine which of the first vehicle and the second vehicle should be monitored with priority. Therefore, the monitoring person can be preferentially assigned to the vehicle to be monitored, and the monitoring burden on the monitoring person can be reduced.
- the monitoring of the second vehicle is determined based on a comparison between at least one of the priority of the vehicle and the priority of the monitoring task for monitoring the vehicle. Therefore, it is possible to improve the accuracy of determining which of the first vehicle and the second vehicle should be monitored with priority.
- the monitoring of the second vehicle is determined based on the comparison of the priority according to at least one of the occupant of the vehicle and whether or not the occupant responds. Therefore, it is possible to improve the accuracy of determining which of the first vehicle and the second vehicle should be monitored with priority.
- ⁇ Circle around (2) ⁇ Monitoring of the second vehicle is determined based on comparison of vehicle information including the position or speed of the vehicle. Therefore, it is possible to improve the accuracy of determining which of the first vehicle and the second vehicle should be monitored with priority.
- the monitoring of the first vehicle is performed from among a plurality of persons monitoring the plurality of first vehicles.
- An observer who monitors the second vehicle can be appropriately selected according to the similarity. The more similar the monitoring is between the monitoring targets, the lower the burden on the monitor when switching the monitoring targets is. Therefore, the monitoring burden can be reduced while monitoring the vehicle to be monitored.
- the monitoring of the second vehicle is determined according to the similarity of the position of the vehicle. Since the monitoring tasks and the like are more similar as the positions of the vehicles are more similar, a change in the monitoring operation when the monitored vehicle is switched is suppressed. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the burden on the observer when switching the monitoring vehicle.
- the monitoring of the second vehicle is determined based on at least one of the content and the difficulty of monitoring the vehicle. The more similar the content of the monitoring or the degree of difficulty of the monitoring, the more the change in the monitoring work when the monitored vehicle is switched is suppressed, so that the burden on the monitor can be reduced.
- the monitoring of the second vehicle is determined based on the state of the observer monitoring the first vehicle. Therefore, it is possible to allocate the second vehicle to a monitor who is in a state where it is difficult to switch the monitoring vehicle. Therefore, the monitoring burden on the monitoring person can be reduced more reliably.
- the change of the monitor is encouraged based on the state of the monitor monitoring the first vehicle. Accordingly, when the monitor is not suitable for monitoring, the monitor can be replaced with another monitor. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the possibility that monitoring becomes insufficient or inappropriate depending on the state of the monitor.
- the monitoring person can be more easily or appropriately used.
- the state can be specified.
- the second vehicle can be shifted to a safe state. Therefore, the safety of the second vehicle can be ensured without increasing the burden on the observer.
- the monitor is assigned to the monitor whose monitoring is being completed first among the plurality of monitors. Thereby, even when all the plurality of observers are monitoring and it is not possible to immediately start monitoring the second vehicle, it is possible to minimize the time during which the second vehicle is not monitored.
- the surveillance is presented to the surveillance person before the time when the surveillance is required. Therefore, the observer can know that he or she will be monitoring before the time when monitoring is required. Therefore, the load at the start of monitoring can be reduced by preparing for monitoring.
- each component may be configured by dedicated hardware, or may be realized by executing a software program suitable for each component.
- Each component may be realized by a program execution unit such as a CPU or a processor reading and executing a software program recorded on a recording medium such as a hard disk or a semiconductor memory.
- software that implements the information processing method and the like of the above-described embodiment is a program as follows.
- this program uses the computer to obtain, using the computer, first information on monitoring by the first monitor assigned to monitor the first vehicle, and to obtain information on the second vehicle not assigned to monitor by the monitor. Obtaining second information related to monitoring of the vehicle, comparing the first information with the second information, generating presentation information indicating monitoring of the second vehicle according to a result of the comparison, and generating the presentation. An information processing method of presenting information via a presentation device is executed.
- the present invention is applicable to an information processing method capable of reducing a monitoring burden on a monitor.
