Definitions
- the present invention relates to a lighting device that can be attached to a wall panel such as a ceiling.
- lighting devices have been known that use, as light-emitting panels, organic EL panels that are thin and lightweight and emit light in a planar manner (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
- the light-emitting panel of Patent Document 1 is laid out together with other light-emitting panels on an installation surface such as a ceiling, and the plurality of light-emitting panels can function as a single light-emitting surface with a unified appearance.
- typical organic EL panels as disclosed in Patent Document 1, have a rectangular light-emitting surface that has a direction.
- an organic EL panel is used as a light-emitting panel and is installed alongside other light-emitting panels as in Patent Document 1, if the light-emitting surface is tilted, the sense of unity with the other light-emitting panels is lost. Therefore, when arranging light-emitting panels side by side, it is necessary to precisely position each light-emitting panel relative to the mounting surface.
- the present invention therefore aims to provide a lighting device that allows the tilt of the light-emitting surface of the lighting panel to be easily adjusted while attached to a wall panel.
- a lighting device that is mounted by being partially embedded in a mounting through-hole in a wall panel, the lighting device comprising a lighting panel and a mounting bracket, wherein the lighting panel has a panel main body with a light-emitting surface and a raised portion that protrudes from the back surface of the panel main body, the mounting bracket having mounting claws, a surrounding portion that surrounds the raised portion, and a restricting portion that restricts movement of the lighting panel in a direction away from the panel, the mounting bracket being inserted into the mounting through-hole and engaging the mounting claws with the back main surface of the wall panel and/or the inner wall surface of the mounting through-hole, thereby mounting the lighting panel to the wall panel, and the lighting panel being rotatable in a circumferential direction with respect to the mounting bracket, with the raised portion serving as the rotation axis, when the lighting panel is mounted to the wall panel.
- the lighting panel can be rotated in the circumferential direction around the protruding portion as the axis of rotation relative to the mounting bracket, so the inclination of the light-emitting surface of the lighting panel can be easily adjusted even after it has been attached to the wall panel. This eliminates the need for precise positioning, making it easier to adjust the inclination of the light-emitting surface than with conventional methods.
- the raised portion fits loosely into the surrounding portion.
- the raised portion is fitted into the surrounding portion with some play, making it easy to rotate the lighting panel relative to the mounting bracket.
- a preferred aspect is to have an angle limiting portion that limits the angle at which the lighting panel can be rotated relative to the mounting bracket.
- the lighting panel does not rotate too much relative to the mounting bracket, the angle is easily adjusted, and it is easy to align when placed next to other lighting devices.
- the lighting panel can be rotated within a range of 10 degrees.
- the slight rotation makes it easier to fine-tune the tilt of the light-emitting surface, making it easier to align with other lighting devices.
- the raised portion has a limiting groove on its side, both ends of the limiting groove in the extension direction are closed by restricting walls, and the mounting bracket has a protrusion inserted into the limiting groove.
- the protrusion of the mounting bracket abuts against the restricting wall, thereby restricting movement of the restricting groove of the lighting panel in the extension direction.
- the maximum length of the raised portion when viewed in plan, is shorter than the maximum length of the surrounding portion and longer than the minimum length of the surrounding portion.
- the difference in shape between the raised portion and the surrounding portion prevents the lighting panel from rotating too much, making fine adjustments easy.
- One aspect of the present invention is a lighting device that is mounted by partially embedding it into a mounting through-hole in a wall panel, and includes a lighting panel and a mounting bracket.
- the lighting panel has a panel main body with a light-emitting surface and a raised portion that protrudes from the back surface of the panel main body.
- the mounting bracket has a surrounding portion that surrounds the raised portion and a restricting portion that restricts movement of the lighting panel in a direction away from the panel.
- the mounting bracket can be inserted into the mounting through-hole to mount the lighting panel to the wall panel. With the lighting panel mounted to the wall panel, the lighting panel can rotate circumferentially relative to the mounting bracket, with the raised portion serving as the rotation axis.
- the inclination of the light-emitting surface of the lighting panel can be easily adjusted while it is attached to the wall panel.

The present invention relates to a lighting device that can be attached to a wall panel such as a ceiling.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, lighting devices have been known that use, as light-emitting panels, organic EL panels that are thin and lightweight and emit light in a planar manner (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
The light-emitting panel of Patent Document 1 is laid out together with other light-emitting panels on an installation surface such as a ceiling, and the plurality of light-emitting panels can function as a single light-emitting surface with a unified appearance.
Meanwhile, unlike point-emitting LEDs, typical organic EL panels, as disclosed in Patent Document 1, have a rectangular light-emitting surface that has a direction.
When an organic EL panel is used as a light-emitting panel and is installed alongside other light-emitting panels as in Patent Document 1, if the light-emitting surface is tilted, the sense of unity with the other light-emitting panels is lost.
Therefore, when arranging light-emitting panels side by side, it is necessary to precisely position each light-emitting panel relative to the mounting surface.
The present invention therefore aims to provide a lighting device that allows the tilt of the light-emitting surface of the lighting panel to be easily adjusted while attached to a wall panel.
One aspect of the present invention that solves the above-mentioned problems is a lighting device that is mounted by being partially embedded in a mounting through-hole in a wall panel, the lighting device comprising a lighting panel and a mounting bracket, wherein the lighting panel has a panel main body with a light-emitting surface and a raised portion that protrudes from the back surface of the panel main body, the mounting bracket having mounting claws, a surrounding portion that surrounds the raised portion, and a restricting portion that restricts movement of the lighting panel in a direction away from the panel, the mounting bracket being inserted into the mounting through-hole and engaging the mounting claws with the back main surface of the wall panel and/or the inner wall surface of the mounting through-hole, thereby mounting the lighting panel to the wall panel, and the lighting panel being rotatable in a circumferential direction with respect to the mounting bracket, with the raised portion serving as the rotation axis, when the lighting panel is mounted to the wall panel.
In this aspect, the lighting panel can be rotated in the circumferential direction around the protruding portion as the axis of rotation relative to the mounting bracket, so the inclination of the light-emitting surface of the lighting panel can be easily adjusted even after it has been attached to the wall panel. This eliminates the need for precise positioning, making it easier to adjust the inclination of the light-emitting surface than with conventional methods.
In a preferred aspect, the raised portion fits loosely into the surrounding portion.
In this aspect, the raised portion is fitted into the surrounding portion with some play, making it easy to rotate the lighting panel relative to the mounting bracket.
A preferred aspect is to have an angle limiting portion that limits the angle at which the lighting panel can be rotated relative to the mounting bracket.

As shown in Figure 8, in the lighting device 1, the raised portion 11 of the lighting panel 2 and the surrounding portion 70 of the mounting bracket 3 are inserted into the mounting through hole 102 of the wall panel 101 from the front main surface 103 toward the back main surface 105, and the folded portions 86 of the mounting claws 71a and 71b are bent toward the extension portions 85, and their restoring force presses against the inner wall surface of the mounting through hole 102.
The lighting panel 2 has an edge rib 21 and an annular rib 22 abutting against the front main surface 103 of the wall panel 101, and a gap is formed between the front main surface 103 of the wall panel 101 and the back surface 26 of the main panel 20.
The removal notches 32a, 32b are positioned opposite the folded portions 86 of the mounting claws 71a, 71b, and by checking the positions of the removal notches 32a, 32b, it is possible to check the current position of the mounting bracket 3 within the mounting through-hole 102.
According to the lighting device 1 of the first embodiment, the lighting panel 2, when attached to the wall panel 101, can rotate circumferentially relative to the mounting bracket 3 with the protruding portion 11 serving as the rotation axis. This makes it easy to adjust the tilt of the light-emitting surface 25 of the lighting panel 2 even after it has been attached to the wall panel 101. For example, if the light-emitting surface 25 is tilted as shown in Figure 9(a), the light-emitting surface 25 can be brought to the correct position as shown in Figure 9(b) by rotating the lighting panel 2 in the direction of the arrow in Figure 9(a). This eliminates the need for precise positioning, making it easier to adjust the tilt of the light-emitting surface 25 compared to conventional methods.
In the lighting device 1 of the first embodiment, the raised portion 11 is loosely fitted into the surrounding portion 70, and because it is fitted into the surrounding portion 70 with some play, it is easy to rotate the lighting panel 2 circumferentially relative to the mounting bracket 3.
In the lighting device 1 of the first embodiment, the angle of rotation of the lighting panel 2 is limited by the angle restriction portions 52, 53 of the raised portion 11 abutting against the extension portions 85, 85 of the mounting claws 71a, 71b of the mounting bracket 3. This prevents the lighting panel 2 from rotating too much relative to the mounting bracket 3, facilitating angle adjustment and facilitating alignment when placed next to other lighting devices 1 as shown in Figure 1.
In the lighting device 1 of the first embodiment, the lighting panel 2 can be rotated slightly within a 10-degree angle, making it easier to fine-tune the inclination of the light-emitting surface 25 and aligning it with other lighting devices 1, as shown in Figure 1.
In the lighting device 1 of the first embodiment, the raised portion 11 of the lighting panel 2 has angle-limiting grooves 62a, 62b provided on the side surface into which the restricting protrusions 72a, 72b of the mounting bracket 3 are inserted. The restricting protrusions 72a, 72b abut against the restricting wall portions 63a, 63b of the angle-limiting grooves 62a, 62b, thereby restricting the movement of the angle-limiting grooves 62a, 62b of the lighting panel 2 in the extension direction, facilitating fine adjustments.
In the lighting device 1 of the first embodiment, the maximum length of the raised portion 11 in plan view is shorter than the maximum length of the surrounding portion 70, and longer than the minimum length of the surrounding portion 70. This prevents the lighting panel 2 from rotating excessively due to differences in shape between the raised portion 11 and the surrounding portion 70, making fine adjustments easy.
