Abstract
La presente es un proceso para la recuperacion de una corriente de gas rica en hidrogeno de alta presion, de gas de síntesis. El gas de síntesis se separaen un material penetrante enriquecido en hidrogeno y un material no penetrante reducido en hidrogeno, por medio del uso de una membrana. El material penetranteexperimenta una caída sustancial de la presion, de entre aproximadamente 23,9 kPa (500 psi) y aproximadamente 33,5 kPa (700 psi), a medida que pasa a través dela membrana. La presion delgas no penetrante no cambia por la membrana. La presion del gas no penetrante se reduce a una entre aproximadamente 9,58 kPa (200psi) y aproximadamente 23,0 kPa (500 psi), para el uso en una turbina de combustion. El material penetrante rico en hidrogeno se comprime a entreaproximadamente 38,3 kPa (800 psi) y aproximadamente 143,6 kPa (3.000 psi) para el uso en operaciones posteriores, es decir, para el uso en el hidrotratamientode petroleo crudo. El gas no penetrante se expande de una manera tal de proporcionar energía que se usa para comprimir el gas penetrante.
