Pool Section 29 Regulation 3.2(2) AUSTRALIA Patents Act 1990 COMPLETE SPECIFICATION STANDARD PATENT Application Number: Lodged: Invention Title: Open-close mode and device for bottom discharging door The following statement is a full description of this invention, including the best method of performing it known to us: 1 OPEN-CLOSE MODE AND DEVICE FOR BOTTOM DISCHARGING DOOR FIELD OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to shaping, feeding, opening or fitting of packing concerned container or storage container, specifically it is an operating mode and 5 structure of bottom discharging door, especially it is the open-close mode and structure of bottom discharging door for a car or others. Its International Patent Classification is B65B43/00, can be widely applied on various bottom discharging door device, such as railway vehicle (hopper car), bottom discharging ore wagon and various storage container with bottom discharging device. 10 Background of the Invention At present, many bulk material containers are discharged from bottom, such as the hopper car. The discharging door and open-close mechanism of this car is one of automatic discharging device for railway car. Nowadays, discharging 15 door in domestic and overseas railway wagon is generally fitted on the bottom or lateral of car body, having centralized or single open-close mechanism. The technology of open-close mechanism is the key technology of hopper car all the times. The restriction of wagon structure and wagon outline gauge is applied on general open-close mechanism to make the structure and operation of 20 discharging door and open-close mechanism complex, and the cost of manufacture and maintenance high. So, the main technical difficulties of railway wagon (hopper car) is to design a new structure of discharging door and open close mechanism of railway car so as to improve the service performance and reduce the cost of manufacture and maintenance. 25 As to other bottom discharged devices or container, most of their discharging modes are similar with discharging door mode of railway wagon, and most of their loading modes are much simple. For example, Chinese patent ZL96240929.4, in title of "lock device of discharging door of automatic discharging wagon", disclosed one of automatic locking device for discharging door of 30 automatic discharging wagon. This device includes packing box, discharging door, locking hook, limit slipper block, linkage, cylinder, distributor valve and connecting pipe, using compress air of automobile to change the operating direction of operating cylinder via distributor valve so as to drive locking hook that 2 set up under the packing box to lock or loosing the discharging door locking. Therefore, the existing bottom discharging doors are to be either very simple, but difficult to operate and close or very complex, large energy consumption and not reliable. So, it is necessary to invent a discharging door device which is simple 5 but reliable. Summary of the Invention It would be desirable to provide a new method and structure of bottom discharging door and open-close mechanism in view of disadvantage of existing 10 bottom discharging door and open-close mechanism. The method and structure of this kind of bottom discharging door and open-close mechanism shall features in easier operation, simpler structure, more credible operation and lower manufacture and maintenance cost. This invention would desirable to achieve a new method and structure of 15 bottom discharging door and open-close mechanism via following technical solution. This discharging door is bottom discharging door, and its open-close mode of open-close mechanism uses double freedom open-close mechanism, controlling one mechanism that is similar to a five-lever system mechanism via one controlling device to change the position of five-lever system mechanism so 20 as to open or close bottom discharging door. This bottom discharging door and open-close mechanism includes basic lever system, additional lever system and controlling device. Among them, basic lever system is five-lever system mechanism, mainly comprising basic lever formed by two discharging doors, one crank lever used for closing bottom 25 discharging door, one door crank lever used for controlling and operating open close mechanism and fixing lever formed by fixing seat or frame. One end of basic lever formed by two discharging doors connect with fixing seat or frame through hinge joint, and can separately rotate around each hinge joint freely swinging along X and Y; Another end of basic lever formed by two discharging 30 doors also separately connect with one end of crank lever and door crank lever through hinge joint. At the same time, another end of crank lever and door crank lever will be connected through hinge joint, forming five-lever system discharging door and open-close mechanism with fixing lever that formed by fixing seat or 3 frame. In addition, when five-lever system discharging door and open-close mechanism is under the state of closing, the automatic lock eccentricity is between door crank center and door crank lever acting line, and the limit block is on the door crank lever and door crank so as to ensure this mechanism has good 5 automatic lock security and the discharging door doesn't open accidentally during transportation under the gravity goods and mechanism. The limit block helping the open of open-close mechanism is put at the hinge joint that is connection of crank lever and door crank lever. The controlling device can be pneumatic controlling device, hydraulic device or electric/ mechanical/ manual controlling device. 20 This five-lever double freedom lever mechanism can fully use the room and outline gauge of wagon. Due to the mechanism has double freedom, it makes the opening of discharging door very big, speeding up unloading and fully utilizing the bottom outline gauge of wagon. Utilizing the tare weight of goods to make the discharging door and open-close mechanism has some characteristics, 25 such as new & simple structure, good automatic locking function, quick discharging, easy operation and low manufacture & maintenance cost. In the controlling system of mechanism, the use of mechanical interlocking theory makes the operation safe, simple and reliable. 30 Brief Description of the Drawings Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of basic lever system of new discharging door and open-close mechanism according to the invention; 4 Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of basic lever system and additional lever system of new discharging door and open-close mechanism according to the invention (closing); Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of basic lever system and additional lever 5 system of new discharging door and open-close mechanism according to the invention (opening); Fig. 4 a structure schematic diagram of specific example according to the invention; In the figure: 1. Basic lever system is the simplify discharging door and open-close mechanism, among them, basic lever system is five-lever system mechanism, mainly comprising basic lever formed by two discharging doors, one crank lever for closing bottom-discharging 5 door, one door crank lever for controlling and operating open-closing device and fixing lever formed by fixing seat or frame. One end of basic lever formed by two discharging doors connect with fixing seat or frame through hinge joint, and can separately rotate around each hinge joint freely swinging along X and Y; another 5 end of basic lever formed by two discharging doors also separately connect with one end of crank lever and door crank lever through hinge joint, at the same time another end of crank lever and door crank lever will be connected through hinge joint, forming five-lever system discharging door and open-close mechanism with fixing lever that formed by fixing seat or frame. Under the state of loading or 10 discharging door closing, the automatic lock eccentricity H that is between door crank lever and crank lever (in this system, H is to be 15-80mm). From the FIG. 4 can know that bottom discharging door and open-close mechanism includes loading container 8, left discharging door 9 and right discharging door 10 10. One end of left discharging door 9 connects with fixing seat or frame through hinge pin 13, one end of right discharging door 10 connects with fixing seat or frame through hinge pin 17, and can separately rotate around each hinge joint freely swinging along X and Y; another end of left discharging door 9 connect with one end of crank lever 11 via hinge pin 25, right discharging door 10 connect with 15 one end of door crank lever 12 via hinge pin 17, and another end of crank lever 11 connect with another end of door crank lever 12 via hinge pin 21, forming five lever system discharging door and open-close mechanism with fixing lever that formed by fixing seat or frame. In addition, pneumatic device 7 is put on the random position of loading container 8, one end of pneumatic piston rod 15 of 20 pneumatic device 7 connect with accessory lever 14, accessory 14 also connect with one end of door crank lever 12, forming controlling device and accessory lever system. Claims (8)

1. A method of opening and closing of a downward type unloading door, including a primary rod system, an additional rod system and a control device, characterized in that adopting an opening/closing mechanism with two dimensions of freedom, the said primary rod system is a 5-rod mechanism, the said primary rod system is controlled via a control device so as to open or close the unloading door through the position changing of the 5-rod mechanism, wherein the 5-rod mechanism mainly includes primary rods formed by the two leaves of the unloading door, a deflecting rod used to enclose the unloading door, a crank rod used to control and operate the opening/closing mechanism, and a fixed rod formed by the installation base or frame; one end of the said primary rods connects to the installation base or frame via a pivot point and wherein the primary rods could swing in X and Y dimensions around their pivot points, while the other end of the primary rods is connected to one end of the deflecting rod or the crank rod respectively via a pivot point, hereafter the other end of the deflecting rod is connected to the corresponding end of the crank rod via a pivot point.

An opening and closing unloading door, which adopts the method according to claim 1, including a primary rod system, an additional rod system and a control device; the primary rod system, which is a simplification of the unloading door and the opening/closing mechanism, is a 5-rod mechanism including primary rods forms by the two leaves of the unloading door, a deflecting rod used to enclose the unloading door a crank rod used to control and operate the opening/closing mechanism, and a fixed rod formed by the installation base or frame; one end of the primary rods connects to the installation base or frame via a pivot point and herein the primary rods could swing in X and Y dimensions around their pivot point, while the other end of the primary rods connects to one end of the deflecting rod or the crank respectively via a pivot point, hereafter the other end of the deflecting rod connects to the corresponding end of the crank rod via a pivot point; while the opening/closing mechanism is on the condition of 16 closing, a self-locking offset between the crank center and the active line of the deflecting rod is formed, there also limit blocks placed on the crank rod and the deflecting rod; a limit block in the connecting pivot point of the crank rod and the deflecting rod is placed to help the opening of the opening/closing mechanism.

6. The opening and closing unloading door according to claim 5, wherein the movable working rod is the pistol rod of an air cylinder, or the pistol rod of a hydraulic cylinder, or an electrical or a manual rod system.
