-2- This invention relates to improvements in the field of bathroom accessories.

It has been found in practice that difficulties are encountered whilst in the act of washing one's own feet. These problems occur mainly with elderly people and also people who have various physical disabilities, for often it is impossible to reach and effectively wash the feet by hand.

It is an object of this invention to provide a bathroom accessory which will assist in the washing of feet and legs.

It is a further object of this invention to provide a washing brush or o 15 sponge which will assist in washing the feet particularly underneath the S foot and between the toes.

00 Thus there is provided according to the invention a bathroom accessory .o for washing the feet, said accessory including an elongated handle S 20 having at one end a bifurcated. member having two arms, a first arm o extending generally parallel to the handle and the second arm extending generally at right angles thereto, said first arm having attached thereto a washing member for washing the foot and leg of the user, and the second arm having attached thereto a further washing member to wash between the toe,,.

In order to more fully describe the invention reference will now be mde to the accompanying drawings in which: Fig 1 is a side elevation of the accessory, and Fig 2 is an end elevation thereof.

Referring to the drawings. the washing brush or sponge 1 has a handle 2, the handle 2 havirg atached thereto a forklike or bifurcated member 3 having two arms 4 and On one arm 4 there is releasably attached a washing pad or sponge 6 generally in the shape of a knob, but which may be of other shape.

-3for washing between the toes. This also may instead of being a sponge like material, may be of cloth, such as material similar to a face cloth or towelling.

Both washing members 6 and 7 are releasably attached to their respective arms, 4 and 5, so that they can be replaced, either with a new member of the same material, or alternatively with a member of a different material. For example, member 6 may be replaced with a brush.

0 Hence it will be seen that there is provided a washing member which is effective in washing a foot, either in a shower, bath, whether standing or sitting, the whole foot thus being able to be washed, particularly between the toes.

Although one form of the invention has been described in some detail, it is to be realised that the invention is not to be limited thereto but can include variations and modifications falling within the scope of the appended claims.

Claims (4)

1. A bathroom accessory, particularly a tool for washing the feet, said accessory having an elongated handle having at one end a bifucated member having two arms, a first arm extending generally parallel to the handle and the second arm extending generally at right angles thereto, said first arm having attached to its end a washing member in the shape of a knob or ball, the second member having attached thereto a blade-like washing member extending parallel to the elongated handle for washing between the toes.

2. A bathroom accessory as defined in claim 1, wherein both the respective washing members are releasable attached to their respective arms.

3. A bathroom accessory as defined in claim 2, wherein said first washing member is formed of a sponge-like material or covered with cloth-like material.

4. A bathroom accessory as defined in claim 2, wherein said first washing member is a brush.
