Abstract

Process for the manufacture of CTMP pulps, in which a mechanical grinding of the lignocellulosic material is added to a cooking of the said material at a temperature equal to or higher than 100 DEG C, under saturated steam pressure, with the aid of Na2SO3 or NaHSO3 or SO2NaOH and of a reducing agent more electronegative than the SO3<=> ion, used together and in a medium of initial pH between 7 and 12.5, and bleaching of the manufactured pulp with the aid of H2O2 in an alkaline aqueous medium.
