Description

AUSTRALIA
Patents Act 1990 64 40 2 7
ORIGINAL
COMPLETE SPECIFICATION STANDARD PATENT Invention Title: PLATFORM OF A LIFTING DEVICE.
o o
D
sr o u The following statement is a full description of this invention, including the best method of performing it known to me:- 2 PLATFORM OF A LIFTING DEVICE The subject of the invention is a platform of a lifting device according to Australian patent application 76369/91, used for lifting, dislocation and storage of machines, equipment and commodities, particularly cars.
The known lifting device has a platform moving in principle parallel in relation to the base. The platform is supported .y a flexible-connector system comprising at least one servo-motor. During lifting, lowering or blocking the platform of the device is at a certain required level, always in at least one slidable articulated joint connected with a movable flexible connector, and in at least one articulated joint, slidable in relation to the plane of the platform connected with a deflectable flexible connector.
The object of the invention is such a design of the platform of the lifting device according to application 76369/91 which makes it possible to fulfill the function of storage of machines, equipment and commodities, at lifting, lowering and rest position of a device, e.g. a car.
oo:. This object -as been attained by designing a platform of a lifting device, which has two section beams situated in parallel, between which a strut and a covering are separably fastened. The platform has in its front part a connecting element, and in its rear part it has holders with rotary rollers. Each beam of the platform has a flat rv-rning track underneath, enabling slidable or rolling support of the platform. Between the strut and the covering the platform has an element limiting the position of, for example, a wheel of a tachine or a car. Preferably the limiting element is constituted by a section connector and slant drive-ways. The platform covering is a goffered surface, preferably of 3 corrugated plate, fastened separably to brackets located in recesses of section strips. The connecting element in the front part of the platform is constituted preferably by two double lugs with holes.
The subject of the invention is presented in an example of its embodiment in a drawing, of which Fig.l present a top view of the platform of the lifting device, Fig.2 a side view of the device, and Fig.3 the section strip with the platform covering seen from the inside.
The platform of the lifting device according to the invention has two section beams 1 situated in parallel, between which a strut 2 and a covering 3 are separably fastened. The platform has in its front part a connecting element 4 which is constituted by two double lugs 14 with holes 16. In the rear part of the platform there are holders 5 with rotary rollers 6. Each of beams 1 has a flat running track 7 underneath. Between the strut 2 and the covering 3 the platform has a limiting element 8 which consists of a section connector 9 and two slant drive-ways 10. The covering 3 of the platform is a goffered surface 15 fastened separably to brackets 11 located in recesses 12 of section strips 13.
The platform according to the invention is applicable in lifting devices, e.g. in parking of cars in a double-level system.
