Abstract

The reference plate of a device (1) for supplying and replacing a pouring nozzle (2) for a continuous casting container preferably consists of a flange (11), an inner spout (12) and sliding plate portions (17, 18). The underside of the flange (11) is supported by two guide strips (15, 16) which are strictly rectilinear and parallel, as are the sliding plate portions (17, 18) acting as extensions of the fixed refractory reference plate.
