COMPLETE SPECIFICATION STANDARD PATENT Invention Title: "A SOAP WITH HANGER AND THE SOAP DISH THEREOF The following statement is a full description of this invention, including the best method of performing it known to us: 9 1A A SOAP WITH HANGER AND THE SOAP DISH THEREOF BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a soap with hanger and the soap dish thereof.
A wetted soap is slippery while an outer surface thereof is softened by water and tends to attach to a soap dish into 10 which the wetted soap is positioned. A conventional soap 0@@S @060 dish usually includes a tray portion provided with small gOSO holes or raised ribs for draining water dripped from the e S wetted soap. That is, the wetted soap and the soap dish have reduced contact area between them due to these drain 15 holes or raised ribs. As a result, only a minor pressure could cause the softened outer surface of the wetted soap S to be scraped off by the edges of the drain holes or the raised ribs. The softened and scraped soap not only smudges the soap dish but also forms an unnecessary waste of the S 20 usable soap.
It is therefore tried by the inventor to develop a soap with hanger to prevent a soap from becoming softened due to soaking for a prolonged time. The soap with hanger can be hung over a soap dish to avoid unnecessary waste while the environments in connection with soap, such as kitchens, bathrooms, toilet rooms, etc., can be well maintained in good condition.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION A primary object of the present invention is to provide a soap and soap dish The soap includes a soap body and hanger, wherein the hanger includes a lower part embedded in the center of the soap body and a ring-shaped or hook-shaped upper part projected from the soap body for supporting on the soap dish. The lower part of the hanger may be in a form of nail or screw for inserting into the soap body or in a form of disc for embedding in the soap body. The soap dish is so designed that the soap can be hung over the soap dish without touching the latter and be air dried in a natural manner.
*ooe BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Fig. 1 is a perspective of a soap according to an embodiment of the *ee present invention, a part thereof is cut away to show an internal .o~oo structure thereof; 20 Fig. 2 is a perspective of the soap of Fig. 1 hung over a wall-mount eoooeo soap dish; Fig. 3 is an exploded perspective of the soap and soap dish of Fig.
2; and Figs. 4, 5 and 6 show different embodiments of hangers for holding the soap of the present invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Please refer to Fig. 1 in which a soap according to the present invention is shown. The soap 10 includes a soap body 11 and a hanger 12 having a lower part 121 embedded in the soap body 11. The hanger 12 may be made of plastic material or other solid and rigid material. The lower part 121 of the hanger 12 is particularly designed to have shapes w.e* suitable for firmly hold the soap body 11 with it. An upper 10 part 122 of the hanger 12 opposite to the lower part 121 000 may be a ring, a hook, or any other functionally equivalent 00S* designs. The upper part 122 and the lower part 121 are connected together to form an integral body of the hanger 12. With the lower part 121 of the hanger 12 embedded in S15 a center of the soap body 11, the soap body 11 can be hung 0@*S from a nail or the like on a wall by supporting the ring-shaped or hook-shaped upper part 122 on the nail or the like. Whereby, a wet soap 10 can be hung and dried in the air without contacting with other surfaces.
As shown in Figs. 2 and 3, the soap 10 can be hung over a soap dish 20, so that water dripping from the soap body 11 is collected in the soap dish 20. The soap dish 20 includes a shallow tray portion 21 and a back portion 22 upward extended from the tray portion 21 for a suitable length.
A forward projected horizontal shaft 23 is provided near a top of the back portion 22. The shaft 23 has a groove 231 circumferentially extending along a front portion of 'i 4 the shaft 23 and a through hole 232 axially extending along a center axis of the shaft 23. The soap 10 can be hung over the soap dish 20 by locating the ring-shaped or hook-shaped upper part 122 of the hanger 12 in the groove 231 of the horizontal shaft 23, so that the soap body 11 is kept from the shallow tray portion 21 as well as the back portion 22 for suitable distances.
To mount the soap dish 20 on a fixed place, such as on a 6e pin 30 screwed or hammered into a wall surface 40 as shown 0:00 in Fig. 3, simply engage the through hole 232 of the horizontal shaft 23 of the soap dish 20 with the pin 30 on the wall 40. Then, locate the ring or hook shaped upper part 122 of the hanger 12 in the groove 231 of the shaft 23 to hang the soap body 11 over the soap dish 20 without touching the tray portion 21 and the back portion 22.
*S5009 Figs. 4 to 6 illustrate some embodiments of the hanger 12.
Fig. 4 shows a soap 10a having a soap body lla and a hanger 12a having a ring-shaped upper part 122a and a screw-shaped lower part 121a. Fig. 5 shows a soap 10b having a soap body llb and a hanger 12b having a ring-shaped upper part 122b and a nail-shaped lower part 121 lb. And, fig. 6 shows a soap having a soap body llc and a hanger 12c having a hook-shaped upper part 122c and a disc-shaped lower part 121c. The hanger 12 may be embedded in the soap body 11 when molding the soap body 11 or be pressed or screwed into the soap body 11 after the soap body 11 is formed,. depending on the shape of the lower part 121 of the hanger 12.
With the above arrangements, the soap 10 with hanger 12 according to the present invention is novel in design and practical for use in an economical and convenient manner.
