Abstract

The face or the roofing consists of a metal framework whose bays are filled with glass panes (27). On the building side, the metal framework consists of main profiles 16 and of crossmember profiles (28) extending transversely thereto, and on the outside, of cover profiles 24, 29 which cover the edges of the panes and are screwed to the main profiles or the crossmember profiles. The main profiles, the crossmember profiles and the cover profiles possess anchoring grooves for sealing strips supported on the edges of the panes. The main profiles and the crossmember profiles are equipped with receiving channels 20, 37 for condensation water and with receiving grooves 19, 32 for leakage water. The bottom of the receiving grooves 32 of the crossmember profiles for the leakage water extends up to the top edge of the associated receiving grooves 19 of the main profile and is supported on this top edge. The crossmember profiles 28 possess a main chamber 30 and a subsidiary chamber 31. The bottom of the subsidiary chamber is aligned with the bottoms of the receiving channels 37. Separate drainage systems are provided both for carrying off the leakage water and for carrying off the condensation water dripping off the inner edges of the panes. It is not necessary to make notches in the main profiles 16 in order to create a flow connection between the receiving grooves for the leakage water and between the receiving channels for the condensation water, which are provided in the cross- members and in the main profiles. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a facade or a roof made of metal and glass, consisting of a metal framework, the frame fields of which are provided with glass panes, the metal framework on the building side consisting of main profiles and transversely extending rung profiles and on the outside the cover profiles covering the pane edges, screwed together with the main profiles or the rung profiles, the main profiles, the rung profiles and the cover profiles have anchoring grooves for sealing strips which are supported on the pane edges and the main profiles and the rung profiles are provided with receptacles for condensed water and grooves for seepage water and are designed as hollow chamber profiles are, the bottom of the receiving grooves of the rung profiles for the leachate extends into the area of the receiving grooves of the main profile for the leachate and the outer longitudinal edges of the receiving grooves of the main p Profiles for the leachate are formed by the anchoring grooves for the sealing strips of the main profiles and the bottoms of the anchoring grooves for the sealing strips of the rung profiles are flush with the bottom of the receiving grooves of the rung profiles.

A facade or a roof of this type is known (FR-A-2507648), in which or in which the main profiles in the area of the anchoring grooves for the sealing strips have to be milled, into which also machined parts of the rung profiles engage. The main profiles have a length of 6 to 8 m. There is hardly a workshop for a metalworker that offers the possibility of processing such components.

In addition, the construction site tolerances and the construction site inaccuracies cannot be taken into account when performing the milling on the skin profiles. As a result, considerable difficulties can arise during final assembly.

The support level of the insulating glass panes must be sealed against the leachate flowing in from outside and against warm air flowing out of the interior of the building.

In the construction known according to FR-A-2507648, only gaps with a small gap volume are present in the area of the milled-out areas of the main profile between the main profile and the parts of the rung profiles which engage therein, and can be filled with a sealing compound. Due to the small thickness of the sealing compound, the sealing compound is torn open and the sealing effect is destroyed during the first changes in length of the rung profiles in the axial direction due to different temperature loads. Warm air can thus penetrate from the interior of the building into the rebate base and act on the edge area of the insulating glass panes. The cooling warm air is saturated with liquid and can diffuse into the interior of the insulating glass panes and reduce the service life of the insulating glass panes.

The invention has for its object to design a facade or a roof of the type mentioned so that to drain the leachate from the grooves of the rung profiles in the grooves of the Hauptprofi le in the joint area between the rung profiles and the main profiles notches in the groove walls of the main profiles avoided and the tightness in the support level of the insulating glass panes and the processability of the rung profiles in the respective building structures are improved.

This object is achieved by the features of the characterizing part of patent claim 1.

In the construction according to the invention, each insulating glass pane lies on two sealing strips which are fastened to main profiles and have a greater overall height than the sealing strips of the rung profiles and on two sealing strips fixed to rung profiles. In general, the glass fields on the sides on which the main profiles are provided have a greater length than on the sides delimited by rungs. The sealing strips of greater overall height of the main profiles have a softer spring characteristic than the sealing strips of the rung profiles, so that this results in a favorable compensation of the manufacturing tolerances of the insulating glass panes and a circumferentially tight support of the pane edge areas on the sealing strips forming a frame is ensured.

Further features of the invention emerge from the subclaims. An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawings and is described below. Show it:
  • 1 is a perspective view of a butt joint between a main and a rung profile of a known embodiment,
  • 2 is a partial view of a facade or a roof according to the invention, in a perspective view,
  • 3 is a rung profile in cross section,
  • 4 is a butt joint consisting of two rung profiles and a main profile in vertical section,
  • Fig. 5 shows a main profile with associated insulating glazing in vertical section

The known metal-glass version of a facade or roof according to FIG. 1 has main profiles 1, which together with rung profiles 2 form a framework, the fields of which are filled with insulating glass panes 3. On the outside facing away from the building, the frame field has cover profiles 4 which are screwed to the main profiles or the rung profiles and are provided with anchoring grooves for sealing strips 5 which are supported on the pane edges.

The main profiles 1 are provided with receiving grooves 6 for leachate and have receiving grooves 7 for condensed water which forms on the underside of the pane and flows from the edges of the pane into the receiving grooves 7.

The rung profiles are equipped with receiving grooves 8 for leachate, which are limited on the long sides by anchoring grooves 9 and by sealing strips 10 fixed in the anchoring grooves.

The height of the sealing strips 10 correspond to the sealing strips 11 of the main profiles and are fixed in anchoring grooves 12 which lie in the same plane running parallel to the pane plane.

From Fig. 1 it follows that between the receiving grooves 8 of the rung profiles and the receiving grooves 6 of the main profiles, a flow connection can only be created if the groove walls of the main profiles are notched in the joint area of the rung profiles. The leachate can then flow from the receiving grooves 8 into the receiving grooves 6.

The rung profiles 2 are equipped with a hollow chamber 13, whose receptacles 14 for the condensed water are supported on the upper longitudinal edge 15 of the receptacles 7 of the main profile. If the condensed water builds up in the receiving grooves 7, it can flow into the hollow chamber 13 of the rung profile 2.

In the metal-glass embodiment of a facade or a roof according to the invention, as shown in FIGS. 2 to 5, the main profiles 16, which are spaced apart and parallel to one another, have a hollow chamber 17, the upper floor 18 of which is the bottom of the receiving grooves 19 for the leachate and forms the receptacles 20 for the condensation water. The floors of the receiving grooves and the receiving women are flush with one another.

The receiving grooves 19 of the main profiles for the leachate are delimited in the central plane by a web 21 which, in the exemplary embodiment shown, is integral with a screw groove 22. Fastening screws 23 of the cover profiles 24 are fixed in this screw groove.

The outer longitudinal edges of the receiving grooves 19 of the main profiles 16 for the leachate are formed by anchoring grooves 25 for sealing strips 26. The edges of the panes 27, which are preferably designed as insulating glass panes, are supported on these sealing strips 26.

The rung profiles 28, which together with the associated cover profiles 29, the main profiles 16 and the associated cover profiles 24 form the framework, the fields of which are filled by panes 27 or by other filler plates, are also formed like the main profiles 16 as hollow chamber profiles. The rung profiles 28 have a main chamber 30 and a secondary chamber 31. The rung profiles 28 are provided with receiving grooves 32 for the leachate. In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIGS. 2 to 5, the receiving grooves 32 for the leachate are delimited in the center by a screw groove 33. The fastening screws 34 of the cover profiles 29 are fixed in this screw groove.

The receiving grooves 32 are delimited on the longitudinal edges by anchoring grooves 35 for sealing strips 36. From Fig. 2 it follows that the sealing strips 36, on which the disc edges or the edges of the filling panels are supported in the area of the rungs, have a lower overall height than the sealing strips 26 of the main profiles.

In the corner areas in which the sealing strips 26 and 36 meet, the corner is preferably formed by a molded part made of rubber or plastic, which engages with its legs in the anchoring grooves 25 and 35, respectively. The sealing strips 26, 36 are connected to these legs by an adhesive.

In the rung profiles 28, the secondary chamber 31 is arranged between the receptacles 37 for the condensed water. The bottom 38 of the secondary chamber 31 is aligned with the bottoms 39 of the receptacles 37. The bottoms 38 and 39, as can be seen in FIG. 4, are supported on the upper longitudinal edge 40 of the receptacles 20 for the condensed water of the main profile. 4 also shows that the rung profiles 28 have to be adapted to the main profile 16 in the joint area, but that there are no notches, cutouts or the like to be provided in the main profiles.

In diesem Stoßbereich liegen die genannten Böden auf den oberen Begrenzungsrändern der Verankerungsnuten 25 für die Dichtungsleisten 26.The bottoms 41 of the receptacles 32 of the sprout profiles for the leachate and the bottoms 42 of the anchoring grooves 35 are flush with one another and extend in the joint area to the upper boundary edge of the receiving grooves 19 of the main profiles 16 25 for the sealing strips 26.

From Fig. 4 it follows that the leachate can flow from the receiving grooves 32 of the rung profiles into the receiving grooves 19 and that the condensed water from the receiving grooves 37 of the rung profiles 28 can flow into the receiving grooves 20 of the main profiles. If there is a jam in the receptacles, condensed water can enter the Inflow secondary chamber 31 of the rung profiles. however, no water gets into the main chamber 30 of the rung profiles.

33 hintergreifen. From Fig. 2 and 5 it follows that the screw grooves 22 and 33 in the illustrated embodiment extend only over the thickness of a glass pane of the insulating glazing and that to enlarge the rebate bottom over the entire thickness of the insulating glazing a profile strip 41a is provided made of plastic. This profile strip has a fastening foot 42a which is equipped with latching tongues 43 which engage behind the inner ribs of the screw groove 22 or 33.

The profile strip 41a has an inner chamber 43a which is delimited by a web 44 on the side facing away from the fastening foot. From this web extend strips 45, which are provided with a bead 46 at the free end. A support film 47 is supported on this beaded edge and is coated with a sealing compound on the side facing the writing edge or the edge of a filling plate.

Blocking pieces for the fixing of the individual glass panes can be supported on the profile layer 41a.

The carrier film 47, which is coated on the side facing the pane edges with a sealing compound, has the task of largely preventing the penetration of leachate. The carrier film forms a strip, the width and length of which correspond to the width and the length of the associated cover profiles 24 and 29, respectively. The sealing strips 48 fixed to the cover profiles are supported on the carrier film and press the sealing compound onto the edge of the pane under the influence of the pressure of the fastening screws.

In the crossover area of the cover profiles, two strips of the carrier film covered with sealing compound on the side facing the glazing are laid one on top of the other.

So that water does not build up on the outside of the facade or roof in the area of the corners, which are formed by the cover profiles 24 and 29, a drain gap 49 is provided between the cover profiles 29, which are screwed to the sprout profiles, and the cover profiles 24 .

In the area of the end face of FIG. 24, through which the drain gap is limited, there is an opening between the sealing strips, which are anchored in the cover profile mentioned, and the actual cover profile, which opening must be closed by sealing compound.
