Claims (6)

1. An optically codable ticket in sheet form comprising a main body which is a plastic foil, in particular a PVC foil, and which is provided on at least one side with a thermal layer and a protective layer covering the thermal layer, wherein the ticket is otpically codable in that the thermal layer can be briefly heated through the protective layer by means of a thermal printer and in that way a change in colour can be produced, and wherein the protective layer is a UV-Iacquer (acrylic polymer, 4,5) which is cured by UV-irradiation and has a weight in relation to surface area of from 3 to 8 g/m2.
2. A ticket according to Claim 1, characterised in that the protective layer comprises at least two thin films (4, 5).
3. A ticket according to Claim 1 or Claim 2, characterized in that an outer film (5) of the protective layer contains a lubricant, preferably a silicone oil or silicone resin, in an amount of from 1 % to 10% of the weight of the film.
4. A method of manufacturing an optically codable ticket comprising a main body which is provided on at least one side with a thermal layer and a protective layer covering the thermal layer, wherein the ticket is optically codable in that the thermal layer can be briefly heated through the protective layer by means of a thermal printer and in that way a change in colour can be produced, and wherein the protective layer is a UV-Iacquer (acrylic polymer, 4,5) which is cured by UV-irradiation, wherein the UV-Iacquer is in pasty or viscous form applied in a high-pressure process, in particular in direct or indirect printing, with a weight of application of from 1 to 5 g/m2 to the thermal layer bound by means of a waterproof binder and is immediately thereafter cured by UV-irradiation in splits of a second.
5. A method according to Claim 4, characterized in that a first film in the form of a pasty UV- lacquer is applied, preferably with a weight in relation to surface area of from 1 to 3 g/m2, and that a second film in the form of a UV-Iacquer which is mixed with a lubricant is applied, preferably with a weight of application of from 2 to 5 g/m2.
6. A method according to Claim 5, characterized in that the second film is only selectively applied to parts of the surface.
