Um ein Aufschwimmen der Ware zu verhindern wenn der wannenartige Teil der Vorrichtung mit Flüssigkeit gefüllt ist, wobei der Flüssigkeitsstand durch einen Überlauf 27 begrenzt wird, befindet sich oberhalb der Ware ein weiteres Siebband 16, dessen der Ware zugewandter Teil ebenfalls V-förmig geführt ist. Auf diese Weise wird zwischen der unteren 13 und der oberen Führung 16 ein Kanal ausgebildet, den die Warenbahn bei der Behandlung durchläuft.
