Erst nach dieser Verriegelung der Teleskopschüsse miteinander ist es möglich, die beiden seitlichen Bolzen 20, 21 über die zugehörigen Zylinder einzuziehen. Daraufhin wird der Teleskopierzylinder 18 zurückgefahren bis zum Endstück des nächsten Teleskopschusses und in der beschriebenen Weise mit diesem verriegelt.
