Abstract

Determinación de biomasa y actividad biológica de organismos fototróficos en medio líquido y sobre materiales sólidos a partir de la medida del color, utilizando un medidor de color para sólidos que permita cuantificar las coordenadas de color. La correlación existente entre la cantidad de organismos fototróficos presentes y su color permite el llevar a cabo dichas determinaciones de una manera simple ya que en el caso de que dichos organismos se encuentren colonizando un sustrato sólido únicamente será necesario el realizar la medida del color directamente sobre el sustrato. En el caso de organismos fototrópicos que se desarrollan en medio líquido, éstos únicamente han de ser depositados previamente sobre un filtro con tamaño de poro menor que el de los microorganismos y posteriormente medir su color.Biomass and biological activity determination of phototrophic organisms in liquid medium and on solid materials from the color measurement, using a color meter for solids that allows quantifying the color coordinates.
