1,028,014. Hand operated turning gear. D. J. HUGHES. Aug. 10, 1964 [June 4, 1963], No. 22191/63. Heading F1K. The invention relates to a hand operated engine turning gear for motor vehicles in which a member 10 is fitted to one of the driving road wheels of the vehicle, by which the engine can be rotated when one or two of the vehicle wheels is, or are, jacked up. When the engine fires the drive member 10 of the clutch 108 moves out of engagement. After starting the gear may be removed from the wheel.
