Abstract
104,059. Woods, A., and Harrison & Son, R. March 30, 1916. Hoods.-The horizontal bar 3 of the framework described in Specification 1258/14 is extended beyond the upright 1 and has an upturned end A to which is pivoted the upturned end B of the bar 11. A link G extends between the upright 1 and a rearward extension C of the bar 11. The whole hood can, with this arrangement, be folded and extended by manipulation of the front bars 11. The framework becomes locked in the extended and folded positions by reason of the pivot F in the one case, and the pivot D in the other case, moving slightly beyond the position of alinement with the pivots D, Hand F, H respectively. The hoop-stick 15 is shown connected to the uprights 1 instead of to jointed rods as in the prior arrangement.
