1305135 Photo-electric edge followers MESSER GRIESHEIM GmbH 27 Oct 1970 50985/70 Addition to 1222108 Heading G1A The photo-electric edge follower, described in Patent Specification 1222108, which includes means for adjusting an element in the optical path to compensate for changes in extraneous background illumination, is modified in that the scanning photo-electric transducer 4 is not a photo-resistor but may be a photo-cell or photodiode. Such a transducer is associated in a bridge circuit with a comparison element providing a reference voltage.
