Abstract

An ironing board with a tubular metal surround, hinged at one end and clamped at the other. The surround is lifted, the cover placed onto the board top and then the surround is lowered onto the board top and clamped. The surround hugs the edge of the board sandwiching the overhang of the cover between itself and the edge of the board thus preventing the cover from moving and keeping it smooth.

SPECIFICATION Removable iron board cover An outer tubular metal frame to iron board top, hinged at one end, to lift from other end - to make the removal and replacement of the coversheet a simple procedure.
ii The outer frame is then secured back into position by means of a small clamp. Thus holding the coversheet taught.
A removable ironing board cover comprising of an ironing board, an outer tubular metal frame hinged at one end to alow frame to be lifted, clamp at other end to secure frame when holding coversheet in position.
