Revolving-cylinder pumps; valves, arrangements of. - A rotary valve for an engine or pump with its cylinders parallel to its shaft is mounted in roller bearings j, j<1> and provided with an hole o, leakage being returned to the exhaust or suction side through a pipe connected at g. The valve may also have grooves g, g<1> connected to the ports f, f<1> by holes h, h<1>. According to the Provisional Specification, the valve is mounted in ball bearings.
