Description

SPECIFICATION An improved console for gambling machines The present invention, as expressed in the title ofthis specification, refers to an improved console for gambling machines.
In the console ofthe invention are situated the indicating elements, as well as the background plate or the gambling elements themselves, and the play operation elements.
Said console is determined by a printed plate wherein four consecutuve planes are defined, the greater of which has a wide opening for the viewer; the two adjacent planes with respect to the former, have relevant locationsforthe push buttons, counting viewers and coin entrance; the remaining and inferior plane is fitted to the fore soffit of the gambling machine body.
The platewhich determinesthe console is hinged to the machine body and, more exactly to the sides thereof, for there are at these sides two semi-axes wherein relevant hooking elements work, said hooking elements emerging laterallyfromthe plateand for there are in said hooking elements both cuts which fit into said semi-axes. Nearthe hooking el ements cuts there are some slots which make possiblethe angular displacement of the plate, so asto not interfere with the fore soffit ofthe gambling machine body.
As limitative top of the plate position in the max imal opening thereof, there are two latera I a rticu lated opening limiters, whilstfortheclosing position or use position there are two rotating rings on both supports being fitted to the plate sides, said ringsfitting into relevant eccentrics being provided at the machine body sides.
For a better understanding ofthis specification and as a part thereof, a drawing sheet is attached, wherein, with an illustrative but non-limitative char acter, theconsoleforgambling machines has been represented in detail and in perspective, in its open position.
Referring to the numeration indicated inthefigure, we see howthe improved consoleforgambling machines proposed by this invention is materialized by the printed plate 1,which defines four consecutive planes, the greater of which has the opening 6 for the viewer, whilst the adjacent planes 2 and 4 have the locations 7 forthe push buttons, the locations 8for the counting viewers and the location 9 forthe coin receiver. The planeS establishes the arrangement of the lower portion of the plate 1 with respect to the machine body 11.
The plate 1 is hinged around the semi-axes 10, by means of hooking elements 14,forwhich said hooking elements have the cuts 13 which set in the peripheral slots 15 performed in said semih axes 10. In orderto letthe plate 1 open, the hooking elements 14 are affected by the slots 17, which overcome the presence oftheforesoffit 16 of the machine body 11, during the falling thereof.
The rocking movement of the plate 1, in the opening sense, is limited by the opening limiters 12,whilst the restraint of said plate 1 in its closed or use position is determined bytherings 19rotatorilyarranged to the supports 21 by the clamps 20, which are received by the eccentric 18 provided inside the machine body 11.
1. An improved console for gambling machines, which, being ofthetypewhereinthe indicating and materializing elements of the play and the viewing openings are situated, is essentially characterized by a printed platewhich determines four planes, out of which the greater one has an opening forthe viewer, whilst the adjacent planes comprise locations for push buttons, counting viewers and coin entrance, the plate being hinged with extraction possibilities to semi-axes which are fixed to the body, wherein opening limiters and fastening and closing means are provided, the hinging means being constituted by both cuts provided in hooking elements which emerge lat erally from the plate; in said cuts being set peripheral slots, which are provided in the semi-axes heads, said semi-axes determining a rebating point which defines a rocking path interfered by the fore soffit of the machine body, wherein both slots are set, said slots being provided in the hooking elements close to the pivoting cuts on the semi-axes, whilst the fastening means are constituted by both eccentrics being fixed to the machine body, both rings working therein and being articulated on rotatory supports provided in the plate.
2. An improved console for gambling machines substantially as herein before described with reference to and as illustrated in the accompanying drawing.
