Mounting rollers on shafts.-For securing a roller spindle in its frame, or a conveyer roller on its shaft, a washer 4 having a slot extending to or beyond its centre is used. The washer in its initial form, Fig. 2, is slipped over a grooved part of the shaft &c. and is then bent to the shape shown in Fig. 3. Specification 15899/09, [Class 78 (i), Conveyers &c.], is referred to.
