Abstract

A storage and transportation device for stone consists of a pallet 12 to which is secured, e.g. by staples 3, a cage 1 of wire, plastic mesh or netting. The cage may be circular or square in section. <IMAGE>

Description

STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION CAGE FOR STONE This invention relates to a storage and transportation cage for stone.
A need for a light-weight and relatively inexpensive storage and transportation cage for stone has arisen.
Referring to the drawing (Fig 1), the cage comprises a wire or plastic mesh or netting (1), placed cylindrically upon a wooden pallet (2), and secured by staples or other leans (3), within which the stone is placed.
Refering to the drawing (Fig 2), the cage comprises a wire or plastic mesh or netting (4), placed as a square upon a wooden pallet (5), and secured by staples or other means (6), within which the stone is placed.
Thus, the stone is secured and is completely transportable and suited for storage on reaching its destination.

Claims (1)

  1. A storage and transportation cage for stone constructed of a wire or plastic mesh or netting, placed cylindrically on its end and secured upon a wooden pallet.
    A storage and transportation cage for stone constructed of a wire or plastic mesh or netting, placed as a square and secured upon a wooden pallet.
