Abstract
249,019. Eaton, T. Sept. 11, 1925. Closure members, rotary conical.-A. plug cock is provided with two passages cast in the taper surface of the plug 4 and located parallel with each other on opposite sides of a central part, as shown, and in order to obviate any erosive action of the liquid upon the machined closure surface of the plug a single shielding-bar 7 is cast across the inlet passage in the casing. Specifications 4985/86, 10454/93, and 21219/02 are referred to.
