Abstract

574,071. Hand trucks. GREGORY, C. H. Dec. 29, 1943, No. 21787. [Class 108 (i)] A hand-truck or barrow has the toe plate j pivotally mounted on the front wheels or their axle c so that on release of a bolt k the toe plate can be folded flat against the base b. A swivelling wheel e or two wheels may be attached to the base b. The bolt k slides through holes in the framework of the base b and enters a hole in an angle L, Fig. 2, attached to the toe plate to lock the toe plate in the upright position.
